Great logic PK. Replace "slashed" with some other violent or criminal act, and you can see what a dumb comment that is.

As everyone else said nearly every time the Habs have been the victims of a play like this: Hockey is a tough game. Man up.
I'm glad we've finally stopped playing the victim card. Montreal spent years watching its players be hurt by Bruins, Sens, and everyone else while the hockey world sat back and laughed; it's high time the Tricolore started sending players to the ER and not caring what anyone thought of it. May there be more tonight.

Now who's playing the victim card, oh the poor habs got abused. Subban's slash was dirty, he got what he deserved, but he effectively took out the Sens best player who I don't believe is playing tonight.
So would you be so cocky tonight and have statements like May there be more tonight, if the Star player that the Sens target is Price, because I'm betting if Montreal or Subban pulls another piece of BS tonight like they did on Wednesday that the Sens will retaliate against the Habs best player and that ain't Subban.
And the Habs without Price aren't good enough.

^ Price was targeted and knocked out of playoffs last year
Edit: Or perhaps recall the two game suspension Gryba received the previous year in the Habs/Sens series for the illegal hit to the head on Eller that changed that series.
I guess, if one or the other is required, it is better to give than to receive

Yup, and Cameron has already said in a press conference, we'll take the same penalty.
So why not send someone in to take out Price, take the 5 minute penalty and count yourself ahead on the ledger board.
Frankly Subban should really shut up, I've always seen him as a selfish player, but riling the other team up with a stupid quote like his, is asking for trouble.
But as it always is, you go into watching a game expecting a bloodbath and you get kitten petting and folk guitar.

This is going to sound really horrible, but I am almost looking forward to this game more than the Flames game tonight. It could turn into an absolute gong show. The second anyone even does anything that remotely might seem dirty for the Senators, it's gonna get ugly.

If Cameron would have kept his mouth shut maybe they could get away with that but now if they pull something like that he may face a suspension and the offending player will definalty get suspended. If there is a bad injural a la Moore/Bertuzzi than Cameron will be held responsible for his comments.
The organizational whining from Ottawa is just pathetic and is the biggest reason not to cheer for them.
FYI I'm not a habs fan either.

Can't wait! This might end up being the most entertaining series of the entire playoffs.

Subban's slash was garbage, but the way Ottawa is whining to the media about it makes me not feel sorry for them. They're getting really annoying. Just another small market that desperately wants attention but nobody cares about them. Shut your mouths and win the game, that will annoy Montreal a lot more than whining and crying about it.

Apparently Melnyk is still working on his 'forensic' audit of Karlsson's leg being cut with a skate and will release his results to the NHL soon. Just pathetic.

The NHL have made their bed on this one.
A 1 game suspension would have ended all of this.

Subban got 5 and a game. The officials made the right call. The Sens scored twice on the pp.
The NHL likes it settled this way instead of in the boardroom.

I can see a hard hitting game tonight. As long as the score is too close we won't see any retributions on Subban's hack and whack last game.

I'm hoping the Habs sweep them and let them whine in the off season
FYI I'm not a Habs fan, in fact, I dislike them greatly
