Don't know why, but this is the most frustrating loss of the year too me. Possibly because I was so confident in a win beforehand. But this stings.

Blues with constant pressure, they challenge every player and they are big. Flames could get nothing going, no time and space to set up.

Well this game is a bit disappointing. Just means we have to go on a bit of a streak after these two losses to keep us in the playoffs.

I can't remember. I just checked the two Buffalo games, no EN goals against in either one. (4-1 win and 4-3 loss)

Blues are good, and the Flames specifically don't match up well with them, thus was always going to be a tough one.

Two empty nutters in the leafs game back in December too. A couple of nights ago on sportsnet they posted a stat that the flames hadn't had an empty net goal scored against them but it was totally wrong.

Feels like the Blues outnumber the Flames on the ice. Hopefully we can move on. I believe this puts us at 4-2-1 in the "7 game segment" so it isn't the end of the world if they can just get it together and back on track

This was going to be a real tough game...

Blues in the west, islanders in the east are teams that will be fun to cheer for if/when the flames season ends.

Default Blues vs. Flames

Joe Colborne - great night for him

Jonas Hiller - Did good, just had goals hard to save

Mason Raymond - I think we need to make him a healthy scratch next game

Im sure it is the first one. A couple of games ago they put up the stat never scored on by the opponent for eng.
Flames had put one in on them selves tho.

I am almost certain the Flames will acquire players via trade or free agency

It's been necessary for a long time. Since his 4 game goal streak ended.

I hope not, Treliving's track record with free agency is brutal.
