Stajan and Backs always make the low percentage play! You came Down the wing gave Rask 3 mins. Notice, then shoot it at him from nowhere.

Why even bother?

Hopefully his last start as with the Flames. Trade him for whatever you can get (doubt he's worth anything though)

Of course they do. There is planning and then there is executing.
Tonight is poor execution, not poor planning.

I know you didn't. That said I can see your point in that a key save at that time would have helped us.

Everyone needs to take a page from Colborne and Byron tonight. By far the best players in red.

Because they don't want to turn it over at the blue line?

Speaking of posters that always harp on the same player endlessly...

Fair enough. I always assumed as much, and yes, this is definitely a case of poor execution. Get tighter on them down the channels and neutral zone entry has to be much more positive.

all 3 goals were easily preventable, it would be an even game if it weren't for the brain cramps

It's games like this that make the eastern commentators treat the Flames' success as unsustainable luck.

So we now have our #1. This game Hiller becomes the starter until Oreo takes over.

I agree, but the playoffs would be a nice bonus. We need a little defensive depth a 3/4 and a 5/6 upgrade. I still think we miss a pure goal scorer also. Maybe Sam Bennett? He isn't a pure goal scorer, but maybe his offence would make up for it. The scoring issue will likely solve itself in time when some of these guys develop.
