I agree with Kypreos that it is a concern. But it seems Johnny's just starting up his engines right now. I think the previous string of games were a warm up. Really looks like he's got another 40 games in him right now. Will be something to keep an eye on in Febuary.

Can't remember even one dangerous looking chance. Flames sat back because they could. And at the end of the period they were coming back to life. Byron/Raymond/Colborne gave the oilers fits.

I didn't mind the panel's rookie debate. If you read the Calder thread they were saying the same things that lots of posters say, from age to length of schedule to nationality and effect of getting in the POs.

Gaudreau has played more games than most college guys the past few years with the world jrs two years ago and then the world championship last year. Not an NHL game level.. but more than the typical college guy workload.

I don't think Forsberg has played more than 60ish games in a season either though in his one other NA season. Elite league plays a shorter season too if I'm not mistaken. Could be a factor for Johnny though in the long run.
