The Flames look a step (or 17) behind in the third but the first two periods were quite even.

If JG starts dumping those is, we might as well trade him. Remember the same looking play is what led to the first goal tonight. Unfortunate outcome but Johnny doesnt blow that often.

Disagree. Flames were really good in the first two periods. The Hawks are an elite hockey team...probably the Cup favorites at this point, and they've been lights out in this period. The go-ahead goal was a result of bad luck with Johnny blowing a tire. Just unfortunate, that's all.

Awful? They are down by 1 and were outshooting the Hawks until the third. The third has been almost all hawks. Pretty damn good for a young rebuild.
