Really smart play by Reinhart killing the penalty. Read the defenseman was going to angle the puck off the far boards and broke for the open ice to try and generate some offense.

Oh damnit. Hate that penalty.
How can it be a delay of game if the player is attempting to pass the puck to a teammate?!

Sieloff is not getting better. I don't want to keep picking at the kid but he really needs at least a couple seasons in the minors.

I remember last year it didn't start getting physical until after a few games as well

Keep hearing 15 listed here, but he has only put on 7lb total guys (maybe 5-6 of that muscle at best?). He said it recently in an interview.

I thought it was just a whistle, first time seeing it as a penalty. Don't like it

I think it was 15 lbs from the weight Monahan finished at last season. He started heavier.

'A' players we're not dressing - Hudler, Backlund, Monahan, Raymond, Setoguchi, Giordano, Smid, Brodie, Hiller, Ramo, Jones, Stajan.
Yeah, this is definitely not a huge difference from our 'A' roster.....

Sorry I was wrong, 8 pounds.
http://www.sportsnet.ca/hockey/nhl/m...phomore-slump/
"It’s easy to forget Monahan doesn’t turn 20 until next month. At six-foot-two and 185 pounds, he cruises into the faceoff circle with a confident demeanour. He says he’s about eight pounds heavier than his rookie weight."
Gigantic difference between someone putting on 8lb and 15lb. 15lb in an offseason is SERIOUS bulk, let alone people saying 15lb of muscle (lol, maybe possible with a test/deca cycle?).

He missed about 7 months last year. He's going to take time to get his timing back. Main thing for him is getting through camp healthy and getting in a full AHL season. He's young... no reason to worry at this point.

15lbs of pure muscle is a ridiculous amount, considering all of the cardio and little time. If true I would love that nutrition/workout plan

According to this http://flames.nhl.com/club/schedule.htm
There are only 3 scheduled games on SN360 in the regular season. Most of them are going to be SNW and SNFlames.
