I know he took the same money or less to go to Atlanta but I think they just waited way too long on him, I don't even think Atlanta was interested until they got hit with injuries in camp.

I don't think you have your story right on how that all unfolded.
Anyways, I like posting stupid Blue Jays gifs

My understanding was that Santana had verbally agreed to a deal with the Jays and then backed out of it. There's a lot of things they could be faulted for, but letting Santana go isn't one of them as far as I know.

This is a fun team to watch right now.....their bats are jacked right now.
I can't think of a team with a better 3, 4 in their line up right now.

This has to be our year... Especially with the roster that we have. It feels so good to be at the top, it's taken forever...

Dont get too high...and dont get too low.
LOTS of season left to play and anything can happen. Only two games up on the Yanks and the other teams are within hailing distance.
Breathe...enjoy the ride.

I'm just glad the Jays aren't the talk of the league for all the problems they (used to) have.
Today the Mets released Valverde and the Reds picked up Marmol. That can't be good and I'm glad the Jays are stable and out of the news.

Lind draws back into the lineup for the game tonight, looks like Tollesen sits. EE will be the DH.

Also, Lind hits 4th behind Jose, pushing EE down to 5th. Interesting.

Tough to do to EE with him so hot, but I think this is their best lineup. Breaking up Jose and EE with a lefty really makes it difficult to pitch to them.
1 through 8 that is SUCH a great lineup.

there's is clearly a left-handed and right-handed lineup now. So much depth.

Well, it was close. Lind and EE go deep back to back, now 6-2 Jays.
What a potent lineup, yikes.

Just tuned into the game, looks like Lind and EE had some home runs. And as I type this Juan Francisco hits a opposite field home run, the guy has some serious power.
