Well at least it looks like we have a good goalie now. If the Flames can summon up some of that effort from earlier in the season they might actually be successful.

The hilarious part about having 5 shots, is it only takes one shot to get back in game and you can throw away 40 bad minutes of hockey and concentrate on getting one more.

He's playing as well as you could expect a weak player to play.
Somehow I sincerely mean that as a compliment.

Apart from that flick pass up ice and one other pass he hasn't done a single other good thing. He has, however, lost the puck countless times. He is not playing well. If you guys genuinely think he is you need to take off the rose coloured glasses. Let's be realists here.

The only thing Jackman would have done tonight is get his face pounded in, get a couple dumb penalties and have Hartley say how great he is.

He had 4 blocked shots the first period. He's getting better at blocking shots, much more aggressive than he's been in the past.

Berra has seen more rubber tonight than an inspector in a Trojan factory.

I don't care what your replay showed, in my Flames loving universe it was damn well onside!

Every other forward has lost the pucks at least as many times as Baertschi has.
Yet we hold him to a different standard?
We have 5 shots. He's not going to create offence by himself.

Um... What do people expect out of the Flames here? They're getting run out of the building by a team that's done so to much better teams this year. The only hope they had tonight was that the Sharks would take them lightly and not show up, and that didn't happen.
