I like the jersey actually

Not a fan of the logo.
The C on its own would make it look good. The word mark on its own would be fine but not my first choice. Both look silly

I don't understand how someone can like the jersey without liking the focal point of the jersey. Regardless of what else they did with the jersey, that cramped mess of script and the flaming C would ruin it for me.

Also, I think part of the reason that some aspects of the jersey are growing on people is that the mock-up that keeps getting posted inaccurately has rounded edges to the black yoke, which looks much better than the combination of the squared off edges with the circular secondary logo.

The jersey wouldn't look that good even with a regular flaming C as the logo.

Really, the only thing good about it is that it is red.

If this really is the 3rd jersey i wonder if Flames marketing along with Nike, Reebok, CCM or whoever is the manufacturer of this will ignore a 80% disapproval.

Like someone before said, it has the letter "C" on the front of the jersey 3 different times in three different fonts.

Going to the white letter for the Captain's C helps it stand out better, but the white string also catches the eye. They should have either stayed with the black string or just went to a regular V-neck.


I also assume there will be more yellow on the actual jersey than what we're seeing on the screen shot, which will help keep it from looking like a Devils jersey.


I decided to use the basic design and replace the word mark with the regular logo to see what it would look like. I liked the way it looked, so I put together a white one too...



I would not hesitate to buy one of those.

Change all of the black on the red jersey to yellow and it would be even better.
