Still liking Ortio the best. Haven't seen enough of Berra yet though.

These guys have a serious issue with shooting that damn puck. Wow.

You seem to think I'm upset (not at all the case), you must know me better than I do, what do I want for a snack?

You think this team is NHL proven? If you do, go ahead blame the goalies.

Well, yeah. 99% of the league are in better shape than we are.

I didn't say you were upset, I said you "reacted". If it wasn't a reaction to the games going on, fine. Just assumed based on the context. No need to be defensive.

Of course it's unlikely that the goaltending will be good this year. No argument there.

Please show in either post where I blamed the goalies. Stating a fact is not blaming a goalie (although that fumble was all on him). Go start an argument with someone else, I'm not in the mood to be baited by someone that reads far more into a post than they should.

Wasn't an awful showing all things considered. Wasn't great but wasn't bad either. Flames did appear to have conditioning issues however, most of the team seemed to be just a step or two behind the Oilers all night.

Gio in beast mode already, I love it.

I mean physical shape.

If 99% of the league is in better shape than the Flames, there is a big problem.

While I find the Oiler trolls around here as pathetic as can be, this really isn't much better and is an invitation for them to post.

I thought Backlund was the best Flame, nobody else real close. Maybe Brodie 2nd.

It wasn't so bad at home. Only one goal at EV. Scary to think MacDonald could be our best goalie this year.

I thought Ferland was our best youngster overall. Poirier had a good 3rd period.

It would be nice if the guys manning the points could actually handle the puck / keep it in / put it on net. We had a lot of trouble keeping the zone, mostly due to confusion and scrambling. But that's typical pre-season hockey.

His soft back pass was the reason we lost the puck and they went down and scored the third goal.

Face it, he's soft and not that good at all.

The adjectives are unnecessary as they are implied by the subject.

Poirier-Gio-Backlund-Brodie were all good tonight. I noticed O brien and jones allot. D. Jones used to be much faster than I remember... With all that said, it's only the first pre season game and I'm just excited to have hockey back. It would be weird being a hockey market in a hot weather environment. I don't remember the last time I have had shorts on during a game in 10 years.

Not trying to pick a fight, just hate that goalies get the blame because itīs easy to make them the scapegoat.

There arenīt many NHL proven players on this team, at least in their projected role. Why bring up just goalies? Everyone knows we have been spoiled by Kipper over the years, I just would like to see the guys who are starting their careers in NA given a chance before batting them down. As in grow with the team and make mistakes.
