One thing to take away from this game is that the NFC East is wide open. 9-7 could easily take it.

Think of it this way...there are 17 weeks and an average of 15 games a week. 3 of those games are not on Sunday ticket each week. So that leaves you with 184 games for 200 bucks, or $1.09 a game. All in HD and it assures you see whatever team you prefer every week....and no annoying Canadian ads, though never pay attention to them anyhow cause im always switching around.
|
Your math is pretty bad. Since you get the first week free you can knock off the first 16 games. You get 4 national games (Thursday night, Sunday night, Monday night X 2) free every week. That's another 64 games. You get at least 3 free regional games each week but with timeshifting and Canadian/American feeds you might get 7 different regional games a week. Let's assume it's an average of 5 regional games a week. That's another 80 games. That leaves you only 96 games with Sunday Ticket. Or over $2 a game.

There is only 3 national games a week after this week.
And Sunday Ticket is worth it.

There is only one Monday night game after week 1, and there is no Monday night game in week 17. Don't forget the national TV games on Thanksgiving.
I'm not so good at the maths, so don't ask me to to break it down any further.
Yes, Sunday Ticket is worth it.

They should offer the Red Zone channel for around $20 a month. When I didn't have cable in college and I watched football via other means all I bothered watching was Red Zone. That channel is absolutely fantastic, even if the host is kind of a dork.

There is only ONE Monday night that has 2 games.....and if you want the time shifting etc, you PAY for that, so they are not free. So my math is just fine.
But yeah...keep being obtuse, you have it perfected.

I can see the Giants trying the game but missing the extra point shortly.

There's a guy in Pittsburgh who begs to differ.

There has to be someone worse. Who was the backup when Denver won back-to-back in the mid 90s?
