I have a feeling we are going to make a move something along the lines of:

To Flames:
Patrick Marleau

To Sharks:
Mike Cammalleri

With that recent Burke lawsuit you would think people would be smarter about claiming unsubstantiated speculation as fact. But some people insist on learning the hard way.

Now even if it is true and he did have a problem with alcohol or drugs, it also sounds like Kristo had a wake up call as well. Having a problem should not stop someone from getting a 2nd chance. Brian McGrattan is n excellent example of a guy who had made good with his 2nd chance and I think all of us are happy to have him as apart of the organization.

Maybe you could tell me more about Danny Kristo's drug problems.

that was a major foul? Lol. I can only imagine the suspension that would come with how I really feel.

Would love this deal except switch Cammalleri with Gio and something else. Solves issues for both teams.

Dany Kristo is no Patrick Kane or Fleury skillswise. Of all the players, picks and prospects we could get I don't see the point in wasting our time with this guy. Why bother with a potential Dan Ryder 2 if you don't have to? There are tons of other options with no red flags whatsoever rather than trying to justify this guy. Unnecessary risk.

What? We trade one of our 2 legit top 4 d (Brodie is close but not there yet). This opens a massive hole on the flames and we solve no issues. Ruutu helps on the RW but I am not sold on Rask as a NHLer. We need legit D more than a oft injured 2nd line RW and decent prospect

I have a feeling the Flames will be adding a couple D-men via trade by moving Tanguay and Cammy. I believe the Flames want to fully flip the vets on the roster and start a new core surrounding Brodie and Sven and the pick we make at 6. They are thoughts though and it will be interesting to see how it works out.

Agreed.

Blum (NSH) and Ballard (VAN) are two I believe they should be targeting and could be had for relatively low cost.

If Feaster should by unloading anyone it is Tanguay. Trade him to Montreal for our Second Round pick back and a prospect. It's time for the Flames to move on.
good luck getting more than a late 2nd or 3rd rounder maybe. and a prospect? no way.

With the departure of Regehr, Iginla, and Kiprusoff and now with rumors swirling that Cammalleri has requested a trade and Phaneuf may be available, I'm getting a weird feeling that we might see the return of Dion to Calgary as part of a deal sending Cammalleri to the Leafs.
