Rask is on top of his game. I like how he has worked on staying calm when things go against him. The Bruins did it right getting rid of Thomas, Rask is the man.

Came here to read about Dion making an awful play in OT, and found myself reading about something else entirely.

Can't say I'm leaving disappointing though.

Just in OT? Phaneuf was awful the entire game, including such highlights as:

- At least 4 seperate instances in just the 3rd/OT where he tried to lay a hit and just bounced off his target and almost falls over
- Shooting 20 feet wide of the net in the wrong direction (his own corner, somehow)
- Floating around the entire ice, with zero drive to make his presence known in any way

And more! Man has that guy taken a huge step back since his early years.

Go Bruins go! Burn those stinkin' Leafs by a score of 5-1 and make the CBC cry.

CBC said just prior to the game starting that Bartkowski would be playing this game in place of Hamilton, due to the fact that he is a left-handed shot. So if any of you want to torture (or relieve) yourselves by watching part of the package we could've gotten for Iginla, just thought I'd point it out!

It's my birthday tomorrow, and I currently live in the GTA. What a great gift it would be for the Leafs to lose tonight!

First post cuz I'm feeling brave after years of lurking.

I kind of like them. They give me hope that even with screwing up major trades and having incompetent management and or meddling owners for quite a few years, you can still bumble your way back into being a playoff team with out doing it Oiler style. They should give Flames fans hope.

I only wish the Flames were lucky enough to have management as "incompetent" as Brian Burke. Good grief, the bias that some people on this forum have against that man...

Good to see former Flames just handing out free goals.

Where did I specifically name Burke. There was more GMs than him since their last playoff appearance. It gives me hope that the Flames might be able to turn it around as well. Not sure what your talking about.

Man Jagr with the puck in the slot in great position 3 times this period and I'm not sure he got the puck through even once. 2pts and -2 in 4 games so far for the Bruins, I'm sure they were hoping for a bit better performance out of the guy.

Leafs sitting back and losing puck battles now, seems like only a matter if time until Bruins Score.

That was incredibly intense ... I can't remember a stretch of hockey that long where pretty much the whole time was in one end and someone didn't score. That felt like 8 minutes of the period that was all Bruins.
