These announcers for NBC apparently can't get names right.

I missed the first 5 goals. Were they all slapshots from the blue line while on a 1v1?...

And they can't even get the team with the 1 goal lead right.

Amazing shift by Hamonic on Malkin.

This is why the NHL playoffs is some of the best entertainment in sports.

Here you are, watching the Islanders, perennial NHL sadsacks and they've got their fans going loud and hard in the playoffs!

The energy in that building is really good considering the fact that the Islanders have had their suck dialed in at a strong 15 for years.

Is it Emerick?

He is the worst. But since he is still trying to figure out what icing is perhaps he should get a pass on screwing up players names.

I thought iginla touched the puck at the blueline entering the zone on that 4th goal. May be another assist.

Other thoughts:

A first pp unit of: malkin, crosby, letang, iginla and Kunitz could reasonably be a pp unit from an all star game in some years.

The reporter between the benches has horrible makeup today. He resembles my 5 year old when she sneaks into her mom's make up.

The Isles just forgot how to play hockey during that 5-on-3 and ensuing 5-on-4. They have been looking better in the second. I'm glad to see they are at least making a series out of it after laying an egg in game 1.

Is it me or is Morrow getting a lot more attention than Iginla, but they were both pickups to make a cup run and Iginla has been one of the best if not the best Pens player in this series.

He's been an assist machine with the Pens as well. Maybe the Flames were wrong all those years and should have been trying to get a scorer for Iggy to set up ......

I'd say that's Crosby, Malkin, Martin, Letang.... but yea both Morrow / Iggy have been good.

Iggy has been a little bit of a pp specialist at times though

He has one assist or less. He's not in the top 30. Iginla is the league leader in assists.
