Why do I play fantasy football? Every week I get so excited only for my team to horribly let me down.

Got a trade proposal. I get Justin Blackmon for Andrew Hawkins. Thoughts?
I know HAwkins has been a deep threat so far this year and Blackmon has been a bit quiet so far but I think the top end potential for Blackmon is there as the Jags dont really have that #1 receiver that Blackmon could turn into by the end of the season.
Hawkins on the other hand seems to be a #2 A/B type with Ben Tate and even Sanu.

Yeah, I'd make that deal. I have Hawkins on my bench for bye week help but that is all. Like you said, he is a 2 A/B guy. If you want a bench guy that could make a difference and maybe even start later in the year than I agree, Blackmon over Hawkins is the choice.

I don't agree. Blackmon is already the #1 receiver getting the most targets. Doesn't mean anything cause Blaine Gabbert is throwing to him. Gabberts just not gonna magically get any better and make Blackmon a threat each week. Dalton has a lot of faith in Hawkins and so does the team. They'll continue designing more plays for him to utilize the speed he has. Those WR screens they throw to him are fantastic.

Ya maybe I'm just a frustrated Blackmon owner at the moment, but as of right now I'd rather have Hawkins too. Blackmon looked like he had a great rapport in exhibition with Gabbert, but as soon as MJD came back the Jags look back to their ultra-conservative offensive ways. I think I'd rather have Dalton's #2 target in a pass happy O than Gabbert's #1 on a ground & pound O, at least to this point.
Alright I know that none are overly special, but I'm in a 14 team league. On that note, who would you rather have; Jets WR Stephen Hill, Jets WR Jeremy Kerley, or Skins WR Leonard Hankerson?

Need to start 3 out of 5 RBs, standard league.
Forte, Law Firm, Steven Jackson, Battle and/or Bolden.
Thoughts guys?

Kerley.
Garcon is just coming back so that should take alot away from HAnkerson and Stephen Hill has done nothing since week 1. Santonio Holmes just dropped for the season and Kerley will be getting more looks. Hill might make a good #2 guy for the same reason, but in my opinion the order of which should be: Kerley, Hill, Hankerson

I would probably go with the three starters myself. Battle seemed to benefit from the Chargers benching Mathews on principal and Bolden's entire production came last week alone. Forte has a pretty good matchup to boot.

I'd go hankerson, Kerley, Hill. Hankerson is the best receiver of the three. Garcon still not 100% and RG3 likes throwing to Hankerson who's taken over the #2 job because Josh Morgan is an idiot. hankerson had 11 targets last week and has some good downfield ability. Both guys on the Jets could be the #1 or #2 receiver there. Sanchez is not good and when Tebow starts he'll go some games with good downfield passes and some games where he complets 10 passes.

Ryan Williams tonight against the Rams or Fred Jackson against the 49ers on Sunday?

Williams for me, but thats a tough one. Spiller is supposed to be back this week along with Jackson so I think that would force my hand

Not sure what to do here.
I have to play one of Donald Brown v GB, Or C.J. Spiller/Fred Jackson v SF. Right now I'm leaning to Brown only because the other two are going to split touches and they will have to do it against SF. On the other hand, Brown v GB def isn't ideal either. Any advice?

Yeah...tough spot. In those cases i usually just defer to the team with the poorer run defense...in this case that is the packers.
I have Brown as well, but am sitting him this week because i have a better option, but i think unless the packers get a lead early, he will get a good dose of touches.

My team is a mess this week. Injuries and late scratches.
Plus, I have no idea if Gronkowski is going to start. I think he will, but still kind of up in the air.

Word is that Gronk willl start but will certainly not be 100 percent. You can guarantee he sees limited snaps.

Well I'm happy I kept Charles in today...thought about sitting him. I also benefit from a deal to trade Roethlisberger for Andrew Luck today. I made the deal because I have a 2-2 team in a 2 QB league with 2 keepers a year. Essentially taking Luck for future value....but I also like a lot of his matchups going forward, today was one of them.

I had Victor Cruz and Ahmad Bradshaw in today... WOW! They combined for 49 points. Easy win this week.

My opponent beats me 116.49 to 116.46. Sigh. This season has been a nightmare for my fantasy team. 1-4 now.
