Rattie takes a hard hit and looks like he is in a lot of discomfort. Holding his head? it looks like. Kamloops scores off the play

Apparently he's not on the bench anymore.

12th highest North American skater. Behind Reinhart and Dumba. One of those three will likely be the Flames' first pick.

Someone here says shoulder. Damn that Pouliot is good. Sven a great scoring chance from his new linemate and a better save

I hope we draft a blue chip defender in the first as well.

Sven got crunched pretty good in an open ice hit on a broken play battling for the puck. 4-1 Portland

Wouldn't mind Pouliot at all. Read a lot of positive things about him.

Best player through 1 by a mile tonight. Sven looks tentative for some reason

Baertschi with three quality chances, two horrible giveaways, a slewfoot, some interference and a roughing penalty he took after a pretty bad giveaway in his own end right in front of his net on the pp. That Pouliot kid still impressive. 4-3 now heading to the third

So, he's getting involved in the game, is what you're saying?

I don't think they will.. they've got a lot of game breaking players and ten minutes left.

brutal game... First loss of the playoffs for the winterhawks 4-5, no real impact on the scoresheet for sven or wotherspoon..

In other news, how amazing is Brossoit doing:
8GP 8W 0L 2SO 1.50 GAA 0.941%

Up 4-1 to sweep and get some rest, gotta put the skate on the throat and push.

Disappointing, but a good opportunity to see how they respond at home.

Brandon played without its top two scorers — captain Mark Stone (123 regular-season points) and Michael Ferland (96 points). Stone sat out the final game of his junior career with whiplash, while Ferland had a broken finger. Both players were hurt in Tuesday’s game.

Not really. Looks like he is both frustrated and disinterested. Sven didn't seem to care much on the back check. He got set up a few times quite nicely and had maybe a handful of useful shifts. Once Rattie went down he looked totally different. The whole team couldn't really do much. Portland definitely had many more scoring chances and many more high quality ones too. That Pouliot kid is just amazing. Every time he touched the puck people held their breath. He was just as involved near the net as the blueline. I didn't even realize he was a defenceman until about 8 minutes in. Wotherspoon was solid, but not noticeable

Nope. Portland was up 4-0, Rattie got creamed, then it was still mostly Portland, but they couldn't figure out how to score all of a sudden and lost 5-4
