Sunday looks pretty exciting. I think Ill take in the Futurama peoples, then Dorn/Sirtis/Frakes, then head directly to wait for Captain Picard himself. That is if I dont get thrown out during the Frakes thing yelling out "thanks for ruining the star trek movie franchise!"

Frakes didn't write any of them. He directed First Contact and Insurrection though.

What are the lines like to get in?

I'm thinking of coming back to Calgary a day early and hitting the expo Saturday afternoon instead of/in addition to Sunday.

If you hit it in the afternoon, there won't be a line to get in. However, be prepared for one massive crowd and huge lineups within the event itself.
Hope you can stand all day, as there weren't enough seating areas for the people today.

If you want to sit down, go to the Corral...it's @ one end of the expo but there is 5000 empty seats, and maybe even a panel that you didn't think you would find interesting but do...or 500 padded seats in the Boyce Theatre with the same possability.

Well I did see Captain America and The Flash waiting for a bus today.

Got a free weekend pass so I better get down there.

I walked from the corral all the way to the other side of the BMO center and the line was almost the whole way to buy a ticket. I've prepurchased but that's insane. The lady said an hour and a half to just buy a ticket. Corral was over capacity too.

For this year, it has, down here right now and it's crazy packed. The line to get into the Boyce theater for the voice actors was massive.

I was going to take my 10 year old to the show but we decided yesterday that it was a huge money suck and not worth it. Im a fan of ST:TNG and many other shows represented but not crazy .

Yup, looks like it, a few of my coworkers tweeted about getting turned away after waiting in line for 30+ minutes. Looks like the Expo organizers are gonna need to do some major regrouping next year.
