They dont have the last place defense...

As far as passing yards allowed, Green Bay does- by 0.5 yds anyways ha ha

As far as rushing yards allowed, Denver is the second worst of the playoff teams (Detroit was a little bit worse in regular season). NE was middle of the pack.

As far as points allowed are concerned (most important category), Denver has the 2nd worst worst defense of all playoff teams (Giants gave up 10 more points). NE was the middle of the pack in regular season in this category.

edit: sorry for all the edits- had to double check stats

Flip of a coin is too much of a factor in OT, however this rule only applies in the playoffs. I think it should be like this all year. Or, they could have shoot out rules like hockey- kicker lines up at 50 yard like and gets three chances to kick- that might be ok to watch- if the FG is blocked it doesn't matter, because it's just a missed attempt, unless the snapper fumbles... etc.
I had to read that about 5 times to understand it and it is quite stupid.

A shootout between the kickers from the 50 yard line? That is 67 yard field goal...

God I hope Tebow loses.

New England shut down Tebow once, they can do it again.

Tebow can't lose. He has God on his side.

On a more serious note, I also hope Tebow loses. My vote is for GB, I'm thinkin' repeat this year.

That's not what I meant. It was a half hearted joke/suggestion. But glad you took so much time to read it.

At Foxboro, Tebow had no chance. It's going to not only look like Pats-Broncos a month ago but it's going to be look like Broncos-Bills a few weeks ago.

I think the AFC games won't be very close. Home teams win by double digits. The NFC games should be much better. If the Giants front can pressure Rogers, they have a shot at a big upset. Especially if they can keep their running game going. Long drives and consistent pressure that doesn't let the Packers receivers get down the field are key to beating the Packers. Still have to stick with the champs as the pick, but tempted to take the G-men against the spread.

Saints and Niners has me at a loss almost. I think I'll go Saints because they have so many weapons on offence. With a 3.5 point spread, I take SF there. I'll have to look at weather forecasts, but I like over 47.5 points. I can see that game being like 27-25. SF tends to take three points every time rather than gamble 4th downs inside the 20 that fail.

Early forecast for Saturday shows San Fran with a high of 14C and clear skies, no real wind, so good conditions if you're the Saints. That will be a very interesting matchup, #1 O vs. #1 D. Can't wait.

While I don't think that the Bronco's are going to beat New England, a lot of people said the same thing about today's game and Pittsburgh.

Tim Tebow is not a great thrower, but he's a determined kid and its apparent that he's become a rally point for his team and they play incredibly hard for him.

To me it almost makes the NFL fun to watch and makes it a little bit unpredictable.

I think I throw a nicer football then Tebow and can probably throw it deep with less of a wobble duck like motion, but there's no doubt that the kid loves to play, loves playing for his team mate, and has a lot of determination.

Its gonna be fun while it lasts.

Denver did a pretty good job in protection in that game. Those vertical throws down the field were his best ones. It's those 12 yard routes where he has to get the ball out quick that look awful. The Patriot secondary does give up yards, and if the Patriots can't get any pressure on Teebow who knows?

Have you seen the guy run, too? Funny stuff, I tell ya. But as far as the Broncos go, I'm not convinced that they are out of this. New England has a pretty solid history of being choke artists. It'll make for an interesting game.

Personally I really hope he pulls off the upset. Been the single best story of the NFL season by far. I'm a Cowboys fan but Bronco's games have been the most interesting since Tebow started. Even if nothing happens till the fourth they sure find some exciting ways to win.

Yesterday I thought he played very well. Some excellent throws and composure galore.

Go Bronco's Go!!!!!!!!!

Is it me who thinks Tebow's throws are not tight enough? His long balls always kind of wobble and his throwing mechanic is far too slow. I never watched him in college but he reminds me of a college QB.

I think Tebow's best throw was on the game winning one. The earlier bombs were some ugly looking ducks. He must have incredible arm strength to get a throw like that out there so far, but the one in OT was as nice as throw as any I had seen.

As for Saints/Niners, if the 49ers D can get enough pressure on Brees that there isn't time for the deeper routes to get set up then the 49ers can win.

What the defence has done is a) stop the run b) get pressure on the QB to speed up the throw and c) get the short route receiver down in a hurry. This is working well this year because with Navarro Bowman and Patrick Willis being so crazy fast and intelligent they can get up in a hurry to plug holes and that has given the d-line and OLB lots of opportunity to get after the QB. And that has allowed the corners to play tighter coverage which is where the INTs have come from.

If the Saints can keep a clean pocket they should win. If it turns into a field possession game the 49ers will win.

C'mon lots of that crazy Candlestick wind!
