When I first read that I didn't like the idea, but the more I think about it, I actually kinda like the strategy there. So basically DeMarco Murray would cost you a 15th rounder, whereas Arian Foster would cost you a 1st. Interesting. That would definitely change my keeper strategy quite a bit.

Yeah, it took some getting used to but with Demarco murray as a prime example, can set you up beautifully for the next season. However on the other end of the spectrum, basically getting lucky and having a junk team should reward you that much along with a top draft pick in the next years drtaft

Decisions...decisions
Hey guys I could use some insight! I have been offered Green-Ellis and Matthew Stafford for Michael Turner. I just lost Schaub for the season. I am looking at accepting as I have McFadden to be my keeper for next season (Turner was for this season).
Thoughts?

So do we think its officially safe to drop Schaub? I'm looking playoff bound so don't want a potential return to bite me in the a**. I've already got Stafford so I'm not too worried about it, but I need to pick up a kicker due to mine being on the bye, and don't really wanna let anyone else off my team go. Schaub's the only real option, we pretty sure he's MIA for the year? (or regular season anyway)

I really think he is gone for the season, and that seems to be the building consensus around the league with the reports coming in. Also, take into account that the fantasy season is a few weeks shorter, which only makes the odds of his return slimmer

Thanks, my greatest fear with a QB like Stafford is watching him go down in the fantasy playoffs while Schaub makes a miraculous recovery in week 16. But grabbing Dalton off the waiver wire should cushion the blow enough, should it happen. Smell ya later, Schaub..

Do you have a backup QB? Depending on your RB situation, Turner is a big loss. If a guy like Dalton is available on waivers I think you'd be better off grabbing him and keeping Turner.
The law firm is an incompetent fantasy option and Stafford and the Lions have lost some steam to their offense without Jahvid Best.

Yeah, I would do whatever I could to find a middle road starter. The difference between LawFirm and Turner is much greater then Schaub and guys like Hassleback, Dalton, Cutler or even Moore

I don't think I'd be playing any Chiefs this week with Tyler Palko starting. Never trust a QB who's name sounds like a movie QB played by Keanu Reeves. Oddly enough Joe Flacco which also sounds like Falco....got beat out for the starters job at Pitt by Palko...which rhymes with Falco. Conclusion...both guys were destined to be mocked by their team mates for being just like Shane Falco from the Replacements.

Sometimes being lucky is better than being good. With Arian Foster on Bye week, and Matt Forte having a bad day, along with Eli Manning and Greg Olsen. I'm up 9 points and my opponent is out of players while my New England defense gets to tee off on the Chiefs tomorrow night. In another league my playoff hopes died in the final week of the regular season today. Opponent had every player have a good week with Ray Rice, Tim Teebow, Tony Gonzalez. Torrey Smith against another Foster-less team. Overall 5-6 wasn't a bad record given I used a 2nd round pick on Peyton thinking he'd be out three weeks.

I'm down by 28, but I still have Bowe, Gronkowski, Green-Ellis and New England D and he has nothing left. Once again Ray Rice saves my ass and keeps me within striking distance

Ya, thought I was doing good until I checked and saw you still have practically half your roster left to play, barring a meltdown I'd have to say you've got this one this week.
Once again Helu and Jermichael Finley contribute absolutely nothing. Stafford's the only reason I'm even in this thing right now. Outside of him & Benson my whole team sucked today.

Thanks to Girlysports not giving a damn, I had an easy win this week.
I was concerned due to having a ton of Saints players on their bye week, and Vick/Green/Best all injured.

Didn't even realize there was a D league, love how much FF has taken off here the past couple years.
If there's a D league, why are there only 10 teams in the C league? Not that I'm complaining, the waiver wire this time of year is tough enough as it is.

Just a question, how does the tiebreaker work in a standard Yahoo league, regarding final standings? Is it most points scored, or net points? (or even head-to-head)
