Same here. Loved it until they actually crossed the parallel universe, then it just got stupid.
I swear some of these shows are only figured about for 2-3 seasons, and then the writers scramble to come up with a story because the network renewed for another season.
I didn't mind the parallel universe as I thought that was a cool story line. The last bit of season 3 was pretty stupid though and when they killed off Peter of sorts (doesn't exist) I got pissed off. 3 seasons of a show I really like then you say my favorite character wasn't even real.
I haven't seen any of the new episodes so I don't know what happens, but what a load.
I think you're right when they said "scramble to come up with a story". All they wanted was a huge cliff hanger and they made a silly one.
This is probably a really dumb question, but American Horror Story is scary, right? I've heard good things, but movies like Paranormal Activity really freak me out.

LOL <above>...
Anyway, in all seriousness, no, don't watch it then. I like scary stuff and AHS freaks me out big time.

The thing is, it's not just scary as in the usual horror sense. There's that psychological component that adds a whole other dimension to it. And really messed up things happen.

Well, I didn't mind the story behind the parallel universe. It was actually really interesting. But once they actually crossed over, it seemed like the storyline veered off in a million directions and it was hard to follow what was going on.
Then I started skipping through each episode which made it even worse.
I loved Fringe. I couldn't get enough of it in the 1st and 2nd season. But now I don't even record it anymore.

I agree, the characters just have a way of sticking in your head as they all seem to have some serious issues! It seems like a 50/50 split between horror and drama, but its keeping me watching.

Ok, watched this show and I have to admit that I'm pretty much hooked on it.
The good
1) The acting is very good.
2) Jessica Lange I'm so used to her playing the kindly lady or the nice girl (She was a looker in her day) she plays creepy so well
3) Connie Britton besides that she plays the very damaged wife of the main character, damn nice legs, even better boobies, and she had one of the greatest uses of "Piledriver" in Television history
4) The shock value in the show, the helter skelter moment in the basement made me jump.
5) The girl with downs she did a great job of combining innocent and menacing in the same scene
6) The opening scene with the twins was well done.
7) The opening scene well picked
8) The weirdness with the maid and Jessica Lange line
Spoiler!
Don't make me kill you again
9) The crazy patient
Spoiler!
pretty east to see that he belongs to the house
The bad
1) Could have done with all of the naked male a$$
2) Could have done without
Spoiler!
Dermont McDermmit rubbing one out
3) A lot of boiler plating with the daughter and the shock moments tended to be a little generic
4) I can see that if you miss an episode of this damn show you're gonna be screwed.
Now I'm watching Wilfred
Spoiler!
really could have done without Frodo jacking off in the shower thanks
really unique concept for a show and pretty hilarious.

I'm assuming in the first scene when she knifed her husband its because she caught him in bed piledriving his student, there also seems to be a lot of links to babies in this thing

Last night saw the return of MTV's gloriously lewd animated series "Beavis and Butt-head". The episode, "Werewolves of Highland", marked the start of the Mike Judge-created series' ninth season, and the first new episode since the show stopped airing in 1997.
The series picks up with the same dry crudeness that its original run encompassed, but adjusted for 2011-era references. Last night's episode, for instance, finds Beavis and Butt-head watching Joanna Newsom in MGMT's "Kids" video, and commenting on a Skrillex video. They also watch one of the Twilight films, then decide to become vampires and werewolves to woo women. The show airs on MTV Thursday nights at 10 pm ET.

Poor CaptainCrunch, every show he is watching has guys beating off.
Anybody catch Grimm. I thought it was pretty good. I was pretty surprised that I liked it so much. Should be interesting to see how the next few shows come out because I have quite a few questions.
