I don't like GirlySports idea because it totally affects the outcome, giving an advantage to the teams below the Lightning, give them 2 picks where an player will be available that shouldn't be.

Its not about 'punishing' someone that is absent, as this isn't a pool, there's no competition here.

Also, my intention is just to pick the BPA for this team, and it buys us some time to have someone else take over.

Let's give the Lightning Kane, as we'll likely all agree he's the BPA, at forward, anyway... and move on.

We can have it as a vote as well, instead of just going with the player I'm mentioning... other options could be Duncan Keith or Ilya Kovalchuk.

I say give him at least another hour and then do what I suggested earlier in the thread. Have 3 people Pm each other 3 players you would pick and any doubles would be the player selected. Ill be one of the guys and I say GirlySports since she just picked and Playful genius since he doesn't pick for awhile.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but Igytangs (or whatever the user name is) has only been on the clock for 1.5 hours, and we're debating on who to choose for him?
I appreciate that everyone is wanting to move forward with this draft, but I think it's maybe a little unfair to enforce time limits in the middle of the round, when other people were allowed 12 hours to pick.
After round one, absolutely make a time limit.
