Charlie Sheen is brilliant! Look at the attention he has generated for himself. What I find even more amusing is that he is such a good actor that he actually fools people into thinking he is crazy, lol. It is all an act folks and it is brilliant!

for what purpose though? To get Lindsay Lohan type blacklisted from Hollywood?

He was so brilliant that he chucked away nearly 30 million dollars a year in exchange for some stage shows and an internet web show.
What a strategist.

You know what else is an act?
Playing a character on a crappy sit-com that pays $2 Million per episode.
I haven't run the numbers but I'm pretty sure the one I described pays a little better than not making $2 Million a week.
Now which one is more brilliant?

Everytime I think of Charlie Sheen pissing away the goldmine of two and a half men, and people come out and tell me how brilliant he is, I get an image of Sheen sitting in Doctor Evil's lair laughing like a maniac and saying.
"Why should we make billions, when we can make millions"
But in this case its more like
"Why should we make millions when we can make thousands"
Peace out Yo

I thought he was fired from the show? How is he throwing it all away if he doesn't have a choice?

What if the money doesn't mean anything to him anymore?
What if he finds happiness by just doing whatever the F he wants and being in the spotlight? Maybe to the rest of us that is losing, but as long as it is winning to him, and he is truly happy, isn't that all that matters?
To some people true happiness has more than monetary value.
I don't think I would follow his route, but if it makes him happy and he is having fun with it..

He's just crazy is all, and he most definitely is not happy. Hope he doesn't kill himself as soon as the media grows bored with him. He looks like he is stuck in a manic episode with some histrionic personality disorder thrown in.
The Seinfeld people all walked away from the show after the 9th season, where it was the number 1 show of the year. 8 seasons is crazy long to play a character on a live action TV show. It mostly only happens in cartoons, where the voice actors can literally phone in their roles and their face doesn't become synonymous with a character.
