Howse has another two goals so far tonight. Had a Hatty last night and is working on another tonight so far. Now tied with Eberle for second in the WHL in goal scoring at 48. Only Kyle Beach has more at 52, Kyle Beach who by the way is more often then not fed the puck by our very own Mitch Wahl.

This bodes well for Howse as he is a year younger than Eberle and a year-and-a-half younger than Beach. Starting to see why the Flames traded up for Howse.

I went to last night's game. They went into a shootout and won 3-2.
Kronwall was an absolute beast out there and Sutter was unbelievable. He was really playing a Nystrom-style game. Lots of hitting, lots of defense and even got a shorthanded goal. The crowd went nuts!
Last night Howse had a goal in a 4-2 loss, Chilliwack trails in the series 1-0.
Also last night Bouma had an assist in a 4-3 overtime win, Vancouver is ahead in the series 1-0.
Bouma had an assist tonight. 6-3 Vancouver Giants win. Giants lead the series 2-0.
Patterson had two goals tonight in a 3-0 Saskatoon Blades win. Blades lead the series 1-0.
Wahl had an assist tonight, it happened on the winning goal with 1:28 left in the third period. 5-4 win for Spokane Chiefs. Chiefs lead the series 1-0.

I've been following Bouma a bit from highlights and I think this kid is going to be a fan favourite for the Flames...good skating and hard hitting and a capable fighter and captain to boot of his junior team...
Sounds an awful lot like Mickey Renaud....boy would have been nice having those guys centering our 3rd and 4th lines in the future...

Aaron Marvin is the Flames' only college prospect in this year's NCAA tourney, i.e. the road to the Frozen Four, as his St. Cloud State Huskies (2) will look for their first ever tournament win (0-8 all-time) against Northern Michigan (3) on Friday.
St. Cloud State will also be playing close to home for the first time in tournament play so they should be able to muster enough fan support in St. Paul to give them a home ice advantage.
Marvin is described as the Huskies' top defensive forward.

We're short fo those, rigjt.
Just looking at his stats and he's dropped from 10 goals last season to 5 this year. I guess he's taken on new responsibilities. I thought he was looked on as a scoring power forward but he seems to be following the same path as Chucko.

Marvin had zero points after ~20 games (may have been injured?) then got hot for the last part of the season
