I don't mind it. It just means you need human d men that can take it away. They need to fix the puck control cause when they go into the motion the puck becomes part of the deke animation and you can't poke it off his stick... that's what they need to fix

I've done OTP with Jedaco and have been impressed, smart player. Let's get him into a team try out as well.

I'd like to play some OTP as well. Obviously I don't want to sacrifice league games, but I have been playing G for the past 3 months in anticipation for a tryout.

My only problem is that I can't upgrade without being on a team, so other then games played, dropins mean nothing for me.

You can still get your cards, you just need games and wins. Only the unlocks don't unlock unless your in a club though, but you can still unlock them playing offline. That's how I got all of my boosts. Only one I got as a result of playing with a club.

I played an otp game with this one guy who was legend 3 and he never played on a club. It was actually the best otp game I've played in ever. Great teamwork, passing, smart decisions. Everyone played there position, and was defensively responsible... it was glorious. Then I got excited and played another and then got brought back to reality... everyone was a forward, no one passed, and it was painful.

Yeah, I have made some progress in upgrading through OTP, but if you think its bad as a position player for being left out to dry, try it as a goalie. I stopped playing OTP as a goalie only so that I'm not setting myself further and further back now that I have to start logging B and better overall at the end of games. It simplay cant be done if you dont get a team that has defenseman playing their positions.

Right now I am making my wat through BAP and unlocking things that way, which is a much longer road, unfortunately

Ok let's start the tryouts for Jadeco and Snagger. Just a heads up though: If you do happen to make the team you can still play forward but it will depend on if the regular forwards(jobo/die/div) are on or not. If they are on you will most likely get bumped to D/G or have to sit out if you can't correctly play those positions. That's just the way it goes if the roster starts to gets bigger.

Tryout invitations have been sent to those that asked.

Remember this is a team game. When looking at overall grades, the stat grade doesn't mean anything to us. It's easy to score goals. What we'll be looking at most is your position and teamplay grade.

Edit:

After discussing with the GMs we'd like players to have at least a B+ in position and B in teamplay before tryouts. This should be easy to do in otp if you don't worry about your stats grade and concentrate on D.
