Absolutely! Did you do this in public?
You can spoon the milk out of your bowl but never bring the bowl to your face!

I did it in my kitchen. And I did spoon most of the milk into my mouth, but the last little bit, I drank.

Well if it's in your own home than that's understandable...kind of.
If you want too desert conventional and basic manners in your own home than that's your business.

Pfft. What else? Knife and fork for pizza?
But the real way cereal is supposed to be consumed is that you keep adding cereal to the left over milk. It results in never actually drinking out of the bowl. But if I'm not hungry enough to do that, bowl to face FTW. If somebody called me a pig for doing that I'd tell them to shut up and do the damn dishes.

Its basic table manners which exists for a reason, It's a social courtesy to not act like a farm animal when you're eating. If you want to do away with manners when you're in your own home, go ahead it's your home. But if your out eating at a restaurant is it so much to ask to exercise a little decency.
If you had a little bit of sauce left on your plate and you couldn't get at it with a knife and fork would you bring the plate up to your face and start licking it? I really don't see any difference with bringing a bowl to face.

Sure people should adhere to basic manners in public. But who eats cereal at a restaurant? I'm assuming that she did it at the kitchen table.
But either way, what else are you supposed to do with the milk? Drink it one spoonful at a time? Throw it out? Pour it into your glass and drink it?
Not the same thing as licking a plate.

Well the approach you pointed out before is the correct way, keep pouring cereal into the bowl until all the milk is consumed. If not like I said before you can spoon it out, you do it with soup why is milk any different?

Words that I'm sick of hearing:
bailouts
stimulus
recession
depression
billion
trillion
I used to be really sick of hearing Fanny Mae and Freddie Mac. But I don't hear them very often anymore. Glad.

Because milk lacks surface tension and it takes forever to scoop out all the milk. How about a straw? Would it be a no-no to stick a straw in the bowl and take care of the milk that way?

Why does it matter? Don't do stuff in restaurants that you would do at home. Manners go out the window when at home with nobody around. I slurp the milk out of a bowl, I lick the plate clean, and many other things that would be considered poor manners, or illegal, in public.

Godfather II just started on channel 47. By far, the best of the three.

I watched Part I this morning (my favorite movie) which in my opinion is by far the best of the three. I mean Marlon Brando as Vito Corleone you can't beat that. Don't get me wrong Part II is fantastic as well.

I was just picking my nose and somehow managed to slobber all over myself.
Is it rude or piggish for me to behave this way?
