Unless...."John Wick 5: Overcharged for TV "

I'd watch it.

This is not really a commercial I hate (and maybe this is more appropriate in the finance discussion) but what's the deal with CIBC's new commercial advertising the ability to go back and look at previous purchases? Isn't this something that every account with online access offers? Every credit card and bank account I have shows me old purchase transactions going back about 2 years (18 months is the shortest period without putting in a special request for an old statement.) Maybe I'm not understanding what CIBC is trying to sell in the 30 second ad and their new service is truly revolutionary?

The new Instacart "series" of commercials is pretty interesting because it seems like they have killed off a character from their commercials. They had one come out some time ago where a younger woman appears to be shopping for an old man. In the next commercial that same woman is at a funeral again shopping on the app and it seems like the safe assumption is that the old man died. It's pretty bold.

The idiotic Kahane Law commercials have displaced Spence, for radio ads. They're awful.

We don't have cable anymore, just streaming, but still get some commercials. The Calbridge Homes commercials make me stabby.

Those door dash or whatever commercials where people dance to the door. Then I think the part I hate the most is they open the door, grab the bag then clam the door on the persons face.

Competition Bureau sues DoorDash for allegedly advertising misleading prices and discounts

https://www.canada.ca/en/competition...discounts.html

Quote:
DoorDash charges consumers numerous mandatory fees to deliver orders made online, including service fees, delivery fees, expanded range fees, small order fees and regulatory response fees. As a result, consumers end up paying higher prices or receiving lower discounts than advertised. The company has been engaging in the alleged conduct for close to a decade, acquiring nearly $1 billion in mandatory fees from consumers.

However much they screw over their customers it pales in comparison to how badly they #### their drivers.

The one with that couple trying to get to the door to get food for their family is wild. What the hell is going on in that house and how could they live like that?
