Who else can they put in at this point ? This was the issue of pulling Bassit even though he sucked today
Somehow we needed to get through 5 1/3 with a bullpen with 3 guys who don’t stink (usually) - and today Nate stunk
We just brought 3 straight 5+ era guys out of the bullpen in a close game

This season has to be the least enjoyable Jays team I can remember (although I've really only seriously been watching for the last ~10 years).

Looking through the metrics and of course the Jays had absolute crap luck on hard hit balls. And on the other hand the Rangers got very lucky. But no matter how you slice it you should not blow a 6 run lead that easily. This season sucks.

Eh we knew this part of the schedule was brutal. They went six weeks where the worst team they played was the Twins or Phillies. Tbh from now until the last fifteen games of the year which are all AL east the schedule is quite nice. Ofc you have to win those games but it’s not like the Rays, Orioles, Astros or Yankees had good weekends either. And those teams were playing teams a lot worse than Texas. It just sucks to lose a game they should have won.

These guys come in and it’s always a nice polite one. You serve them because you dont want to cause a scene. And then they become a regular and after awhile they bring a friend. And that dude is cool too.
And THEY bring friends and they stop being cool and then you realize, oh, this is a Nazi bar now. And its too late because they’re entrenched and if you try to kick them out, they cause a PROBLEM. So you have to shut them down.
