I'm just amused at the concept of a clearly divided UCP starting things off by shooting each other. Nothing says "I respect your opinion" like a paintball to the nuts.

True, but only if the hours of operation are practical. Even the current hours that the C Train runs would not work for many airport workers. Service doesn’t start early enough or run late enough.

Clunky in terms of what?
Loading the Clipper card? Getting from the terminal to the BART station?
Getting on BART is a bit of a PITA, but is a bajillion times better than having to deal with the cluster that is the Rental Car Center.
Best way to do SFO is BART #1 and #2 is Uber to off prem rental car center. Costs a bit more but I've yet to be on my way through the rental car center in under two hours. I've done everything including pre paid rentals and Budget Fastbreak etc.

I think if you’re not staying in SF it is clunky. Maybe the whole Bay Area is a mess for a one-off business trip without a rental car.
I just ended up taking an Uber to Sunnyvale rather than trying to navigate the BART to Millbrae another train to Mountain View and another train to Sunnyvale with a suitcase.

Agree with your points. Wife is from the area and yes, if not going downtown SF BART isn't the best.
I did like taking CalTrain to SAP center though, thought that was super convenient.

I think what would have been ideal is just having the BART to the nearby terminus in Millbrae being free to get on between it and the airport. The worst is trying to figure out the system and what fare and direction you need, right after you’ve gotten off a plane and are in a new city.
I took the Caltrain to SF a few times and I enjoyed it. It would be nice if we had something like that in Alberta between the cities.

A former Trump administration adviser who pushed for a herd immunity approach to addressing the COVID-19 pandemic has been invited to speak to Alberta’s governing body, Premier Danielle Smith said this week.
During a forum ahead of the Brooks-Medicine Hat byelection this week, Smith said a group of doctors who are advising her has reached out to Dr. Paul Alexander, a Canadian researcher and former adviser to a member of U.S. President Donald Trump’s administration. Alexander pushed for a herd immunity approach in 2020 and had previously sought to have greater control over communications from apolitical communications, according to reporting from U.S.-based news outlets

I wouldn't even trust her to run a beer league team.

And our premier wants to go to this quack for advice? WTF is going on in this province? How did this happen to us? Oh, right, it's the NDP's fault.

Not many because there's no train.
But say you have a new expanded BMO Center that can host big conventions. And then eventually you have a new event center/hockey arena and then an entertainment district around it by say 2030. Yet, you have no line from the airport?

I love my COVID vaccine. It has worked extremely well for me. Will be getting the 4th booster soon. It's also nice that it's back by actual science - which is, you know, kind of an important consideration when existing in this universe. Oh, and nobody forced me to take it.... just like any other vaccine I ever took.
Maybe Smith should buck all that though and take some hydrocholoquine, Invermectin or bleach, and really and show us the right way. Right Yoho?

You all realize that she is reviving the vaccine-antivaccine divide in order to galvanize her base, and to distract from other policy changes, right? It's a smokescreen. We are on the sixth or seventh omicron variant, and most of what being talked about is history, and has very little value on current health trends.

Smoke screen indeed. I wish that she was open and honest about her economic policy, she to date seems non existent.

I don’t think the numbers from other jurisdictions bear this out.

Or maybe she trying to put in measures to ensure we don’t ever see some of the discrimination we witnessed during Covid ever again.
