I agree. How can hitters adjust to what a pitcher is throwing if they genuinely do not know what a strike is? Now they have to cover 3-4 inches inside and outside the plate, that's easy.

i like the back and forth of batters and hitters adjusting to the ump.

But that doesn't work if the ump is incredibly bad
