All Bust, because she definitely wasn't wearing a Cup.
It just couldn't have come more perfectly full circle.

Now they leave and we get another lost decade or two. It's going to be so beautiful.

Next season will be the 9th year with McLotteryball, and still no Cup. Lol.

Suck it, Oilers!

So.

As of this moment, the Oilers have $10 million in cap space with 9 roster spots to fill. The average age of their remaining roster is 29.6, with eight of their 14 signed NHL players on the wrong side of 30. They have only 29 players under contract in total, 41 on the reserve list. They pick exactly once in this year's draft before the 5th round, and have already traded away three of next year's picks.

I'm confidently guessing that this core will never come as close to winning again.

I wouldn’t want to either, but you gotta do it.

What a slap in the face to the memory of Conn Smythe!

I'm sure he's in hell right now, just... fuming.

His dad was super disappointed, had the camera out and was cheering but then nothing... after a LONG delay he mouthed "wow he's not coming out" and then rounded up the family and said "lets go".

Not surprised he played the baby card.

Was watching a borrowed ESPN feed, and after announcing McDavid as the Conn Smythe winner they just panned to people in the crowd for a minute.

So did McDavid just not accept it or something? I was starting to think some company bought the broadcast rights to the MVP celebration.

I wasn't watching at that moment, but from what I can gather he didn't even come out.

No he was already in the locker room and he wasn't going to come back out.

I can't stop laughing. All of this so, so perfect! The 'Peak Sadness' of making it all the way to Gm 7 of the SCF, to get there via a recovery from being down 0-3 and then LOSE. Still no cups for McDrai. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Now lets have a good draft and enjoy the summer.

Winning 3 games in a row to come back from being down 0-3 and losing game 7 and the Stanley Cup is such an Edmonton Oilers thing to do.

A bunch of ####ing clowns who left their feet, got their sticks up, and cried every opportunity. No game 7 loss has ever looked so good.
