The one difference is that Redford likes to treat my wallet as her own which Smith doesn't.

There are worse reasons to vote for a particular party.
Personally, I picked the one I'd like to most see on my TV in the next few years and voted on the hotness scale.
And I'm an athiest.

What I love is a poll I posted yesterday shows 2/3 people are in favor of Redford's 2 biggest pledges (more schools, more care clinics), and only 44% are in favor of DaniBucks. It's like most people like the PC ideas, they just don't like the MLAs themselves. If Redford was running with a totally clean slate of candidates this election might be a rout.

You know this from her many years in the Premier's office?

If Redford isn't running behind a named brand (PC) with its huge resources, this election will be a rout too. She would be the perfect leader for NDP, let's see how she fairs if that was the case.

Huge resources? Like how the Wildrose outgained them in campaign contributions by more than $500,000?

I see; no doubt you'll tell us exactly what the new taxes are that have been proposed during that six months. I'm not aware of any, but I'm sure I'm wrong.

Pretty sure Rod Love isn't involved with WR. The vast majority of the core campaign team are under 30. I feel like old lady when I meet them.

They will not be elected.
Why do people always point to the worst examples.
Try this guy on for size. He will be an amazing MLA.
No kidding. You would think after doing it for 40 years they would have it perfected.

I can tell you the new deficit racked up or proposed to be racked up by Redford.

We know what the PC's are like. We can guess what the Liberals and NDP would be like based on their provincial and federal counterparts.
Most Wild Rose supporters equate the WR party with the federal Conservative party (the WR senatorial candidates even said they would join the federal Conservative caucus if elected) and we know what they are like fiscally and the WR fiscal campaign promisses.... so yes... he can make a pretty good assumption that Smith will keep her hands off his wallet.

Technically "not a tax"... Guess that makes it okay.

But isn't Redford trying to change "The Old PC Way"? I find it weird people blame it all on her like somehow she's been the Premier tha last 40 years. Change doesn't happen overnight, it does take time to get rid of the old way and bring in the new way.
Also no disrespect to Danielle Smith but Redford's resume blows hers away. Like its not even close who has better credentials for the job.

I agreed on Redford's stellar resume so we should vote her out to give her a chance to take on some human right pro bono cases in South Africa.

I don't know if he enhance the PCs' chances and I don't think he'd be a popular choice on this site, but I think this province would be better run if Doug Horner had won the leadership. I know him and trust him. He's bright and has integrity. Again, I don't if he's more electable than Redford.

Calgary probably would have just gone even deeper into Wildrose Green with another Edmonton area PC Leader.
Honestly Horner, Mar, Redford, it doesn't matter. The PCs were going to saddled with massive baggage anyways.

Isn't that the biggest problem with the Wildrose though? Yet you are willing to dream of a world where this would be a good thing for the PC's, and a bad thing for the Wildrose?
Vote Liberal then. I'm fine with that.
