In a reddit discussion thread they liken ADD Guy to Butters. Laughed out loud, literally: http://www.reddit.com/r/thewalkingde...ussion_s04e04/

Another good episode for me i enjoyed the pace and action... the young couples acting was cardboard but whatever it was a small part.
I saw stunned Carol just written out of the show just like that. I figured that Rick was going to cover for her when Tyreese gets back and let him know that 2 people confessed that have passed from the virus. That they were seeking revenge for losing family to the virus that they blamed that dead chick for leaving the door open.

It's just too bad Carol's character has been written out, i liked her edgy leadership amongst the group.

Something i missed did that loser only grab his stashed bottle and not the meds like he was expected? Or did he just sneak the bottle too?
Next episode looks like it is going to be intense.

The way I understood it he grabbed the bottle and didn't have any meds, which is why Darryl was ready to kick his ass right off that ledge. I'm sure we're not finished with that storyline yet - AA dude will probably go postal at the prison, or he'll get wasted while he's supposed to be on watch or something and get a bunch of people killed.

I don't think we've seen the last of Carol.

I loved Chris Jericho on The Talking Dead last night. He's way smarter and more eloquent that the goof on last week.

I enjoyed the segment on how they found an abandoned gas station and turned it into a set for the show.

Who will be more upset? Daryl for the banishment or Tyreese for Rick letting her go?
They did? I missed it then. I just saw them go through the gate, see the leg and the walkers feasting on something, and then the whole thing with explaining why Carole had to leave.

I think Tyreese has more right to be pissed off about it, but I am not sure who will be most upset about her banishment. I think Darryl might understand it better, having a better understanding of the group dynamics than Tyreese does necessarily.

She will for sure be back. I think when they tell the little girls Carol has been exiled the one will admit to the killing, and they will go looking for Carol.
Spoiler!

I honestly didn't see the Carol thing coming at all.. I thought he might kill her, but exile her.

I don't understand how he will explain this to Tyrese without lieing. If he finds out that Rick just let her go he will go ape crap. Or maybe the whole point of Ty going on this run is so he can cool his jets which we saw more towards the end of the episode.

Oh, I'm sure that we haven't seen the last of Carol. I think the only way off the show is death.

I really like the way Carol's character has gone. It's like she's become a living walker herself. She's become cold and emotionless. And as a result, she's become quite careless.

She really endangered herself to go out and fix the water hose when she had a plan with Rick to do it the next day. She told that little girl to not call her mom. She froze up when that walker fell down the stairs.

And most of all, she took her exile with nary a word. You just got kicked off the island!! And not by the precious council. By one guy. You have to go out into the murderous world by yourself and you're not going to try and reason with Rick? Just accept it and move on?

It's like she's hollow in the inside. Armageddon has finally gotten to her.

We'll see her again. I'm sure of it. I'm enjoying the Carol storyline.

I wonder what Darryl's reaction will be...

Her reaction to the exile only makes me believe even more that she didn't kill those people, she is just falling on the sword for the little girl who did it.

She said she would raise those girls like she would raise her own kid, so she is protecting them knowing that the prison is safer than being out on the road.

And they keep focusing on the bloody handprint on the door frame. Sure looks too low to be an adult handprint.

I just can't see either of those girls being strong enough to drag an adult body out of the prison.

Maybe Carol did the dragging to help the child. I think that plot twist would be excellent.

^^Exactly that. I think she did it. Everyone is just becoming used to killing, whether it be walkers or the living.

The episode was called "Indifference" and that's exactly what Carol has become. She was indifferent to killing those people, "somebody had to try" she said...meh didn't work. She was indifferent to Ana being killed after Rick said they should wait in the house. She was indifferent to waiting for the guy...meh he's late and we need to go. She was even indifferent to be exiled...

Everyone is dying inside.

Yep, he was awesome. Very, very intelligent guy. Manson last week was a freakin' train wreck, so this was a nice change. Good guests indeed.

I think that's one of the underlying themes of the show

Which is worse? Dying on the inside or dying on the outside?

Hey even Darryl left the group for a bit last season. But then they just followed him and Merle for a bit before he got back into the group. Carol will be back. Her departure was just too unceremonious.
