Obviously the military would have protected the supplies, but at no point did they go in and actually use any? The place was more stocked than any grocery store or Walmart is if you were to walk into it now. I mean the shelving broke causing that whole episode 1 conflict because it was so full

Even if you're happy with that situation, we can nitpick the tons of other inaccuracies like no gun having any sort of recoil. 12 year old Carl and 100 pound girls shooting variously large guns without any sort of recoil? Okay.
Then you miss the whole point of The Walking Dead and Zombie apocalypse scenarios... Go back and watch your police dramas if you feel the need to kill the buzz.

Man many on this board are terrible at understanding what genre they are watching. Not every show is equal in story and circumstance, but most want to judge them as if they are!

I wasn't really even criticizing the show that heavily. I said that they just don't deal with 100% accuracy like some other shows do. Which is fine, like you said it's the genre they live in.

Still, in a world where they literally risk their life for clean water they must spend 99% of it to wash their Hyundai. In a world where supplies are scarce there's a grocery store, that was used as a military base, which was stocked better than any Walmart at any given time. Sure, that's 100% because of product placement but that takes away from the story, at least for me, and as a fan I can discuss it.

Same with all the other inaccuracies in the show. Some are your typical action movie tropes like perfect accuracy running away from zombies with unlimited ammo and no recoil, but against a bad guy or when the plot calls for it it's no longer the case. Others are more to move the plot. But if you're (or I guess "I am" in this case) noticing those little 'mistakes' it's the writers' and producers' faults not the fans'.

Well I did not see that coming. I wonder how the rest of the group will react to the exile.

At the same time Rick probably saved Carol's life, because Tyreese would rage on her once he found out.

That weirdo who can blow up stuff with his mind knows where the prison is. That's a decision that will come back to haunt Rick and his crew. I think they made a big enough fuss about that watch that we'll see it again, likely on the arm of a new enemy at the gates of the prison.

If you are talking about that movie Accepted, he was the ADD guy not the blow stuff up with his mind guy.

Weren't both of them killed? That was my take away from the scene.

I thought it was just her leg. I could be wrong but I don't think you actually see anything else that suggests ADD dude bit the dust too.

I got the blond dude who hid in the bathroom for two days mixed up with a different character from the movie Accepted.

You are correct. We see her leg, and we see two walkers chowing down on a fresh kill. We don't even see confirmation that it was that girl, but who else could it be...

We never see the twitchy blonde guy again. There was something not quite right about him...

I really enjoyed this episode again. I love seeing the world as it lays in waste. The derelict gas station, the derelict neighbourhood. So fun. Need a car? Take your pick. The keys may be in it (station wagon) or they may not be (minivan).

I found myself watching Rick and Carol, wondering what else I would take (except for the medicine). Would I take toilet paper? Would I take towels?

I love losing myself in the world of the Walking Dead every Sunday night.

I guess I thought one of them would have shot the guns off to get Rick and Carole's attention if they were able to. That they didn't, to me, indicates they were both walker fodder.

Likewise. My wife commented last night how strange it would be to be in that neighborhood with nobody else around - so quiet and peaceful but terrifying to know that every noise you heard likely meant danger.

I think that's the whole appeal of zombie or "post-apocalyptic" shows - it removes you from the world you are familiar with and makes you wonder how you would react in those situations. We even discussed Carol killing those people because she thought it would protect the greater group. What would you do?

Rick and Carol waited for the guy, which tells me they so no evidence of his demise. He just took off maybe (or will show up later on: rick did tell him they were in a prison 8 miles from there).

Who will be more upset? Daryl for the banishment or Tyreese for Rick letting her go?

I still don't think Carol killed those guys. She knows how Tyrese would react and is still trying to protect the girls. I think on some level she knows that Rick knows too.
