Episode 6 of the Undoing was one of the worst episodes I’ve ever seen. One of the worst finales I’ve ever seen for sure. The first 5 were fantastic. 6 was so hilariously bad I was laughing. Besides Kidman’s horrendous performance, it was a damn good show up to that point.

Not sure if this has been mentioned, but some clips of a show called Mr. Inbetween was served to me on YouTube so I went to check it out.
It's great and I don't say that lightly. I binged the F out of it.
It's difficult to describe but the best I can do is: An Australian dark comedy about a hitman that feels like The Sopranos with a much smaller world, more empathetic protagonist, and told in 22 minute episodes.
You can find it on Disney+ (sadly only 2 of the 3 seasons), but there are no real hard cliffhangers. It has extremely good story editing, terrific acting, and simply hilarious.
Don't believe me? Here's a random video of Hugh Jackman talking about it (no, he's not a producer or anything on it):

I found a lot of the comedians that emerged during the Trump period have either disappeared completely or just couldn’t find a new thing in the post-Trump world.

Thanks for this, I decided to check it out, because of the short episodes it's like Ray Donovan on crack, it's a hoot

We had some Chernobyl talk in the The Last of Us thread and it motivated to watch me again... so frigging good. A tough watch, in a good way, but it's easily one of the top mini series of all time. So incredibly well done.

Been watching all the "Long Ways" with Ewan McGregor & Charley Boorman. Caught a handful of episodes of Long Way Round (2004) years ago, right around when they were in Alberta mostly. Found it on Apple TV+. Didn't know they did another ride in 2007 (Long Way Down), and a third in 2019 (Long Way Up). I'm about 1/2 Way through Long Way Up. I think their 2007 trip might be my favorite series, through some of the African countries.

I mentioned this when I stumbled upon it over the summer but your post is waaay better than mine.
Just a fantastic series. Top 5 of all time for me. The ending was literally perfect and the vagankle? Lol, fond memories.

The biggest thing about this show is how in veers into your standard trope-like plots where you're conditioned to expect a certain outcome. But it somehow also doesn't go into subversion-for-subversions-sake storytelling.
I don't know how they managed to pull it off with such limited screentime.
