My polling station is starting to pick up now. Been pretty dead all day but the after work crowd is beginning to filter in.

I voted after work on the way home. I had to wait about 7-8 minutes. Not too bad.

According to the Canada Elections Act, your employer must provide you with 3 consecutive hours, when the polls are open, in which to vote. If you had to be at work prior to 10:30, you can leave at 4:30.

Guilty until proven innocent, eh?
Ok, I think you're a serial shoplifter. Prove yourself innocent.

I already said it wasn't enough to send someone to jail.
Inferences are enough to point fingers.

Coming from a necrophiliac like you though, it doesn't carry much weight.

No, not really. At least not if you are a responsible person.

Polling station reasonably busy @ 4:30pm.
Lots of people at the polling station, and a large number appear to have walked there. Wowzers, two things you don't see very often. It's bizzaro day.

Voted just after 4 out here in Okotoks. Parking lot was crazy busy and I though 'oh crap', but the actual polling station was pretty empty. Voted in less than a couple minutes once I finally got parked.
As an aside, we have this goofball running in our riding. He is clearly attempting to get those votes from people not reading carefully as he is running for the PC (Progressive Canadian Party).
edit: his website actually says Progressive Conservative, but Elections Canada lists him as being from the Progress Canadian Party. Weasel.
