Decent job by Berrios today. Got BABIP'd in the first, only real mistake was the hanging fastball for the HR.
Just need the bats to wake up a bit here.

Wow, beautiful pick at first by DJ and Vladdy. Is it a coincidence that the pitching staff has been significantly better since DJ came back? Or does he actually have a significant impact on the pitchers?

Jays WIN!!!Wow Romano's stuff was absolutely electric today. Talent eventually took over with Vladdy getting the single and Kirk going deep. Not a pretty series, but the Jays took care of business. 5 of 6 at home before the break is essentially what they needed after their disastrous west coast trip.

Jays have four picks in the first two rounds tonight in the draft. Hitter heavy prospects at the top, lots of high school talent, but the Jays are in the bottom third of the draft order and likely going to be in the college position players zone.
Anyways picks 1 and 2 are sons of some pretty decent players, Jackson Holliday (Matt Holliday) and Druw Jones (Andruw Jones).
