Ward used to play for the Bruins. He has contacts there, and he's using them to break the story. TSN is giving him his spotlight on this one.

Would Iggy technically not be on the cup if Calgary did somehow win? what is the minimum GP required to get your name on the cup? and what is the prorated version in half a season

I've been one of the advocates of trading Iggy for a couple years now, and still think this is the best move for both sides, but I didnt think I would be as sad as I am about this right now
Hearing the Iggy chants, and "Iggy, Iggy, Iggy, Oi Oi Oi" really drove home just how much hes meant to this franchise.
One of the worst days in Flames history, and this franchise will ALWAYS regret not building a consistent contender that didnt rely on Iginla so he could have retired a Flame.
