I know the NHL isn't the same culture as the NBA but could McDavid force a trade? Would it be frowned upon?

There are multiple players right now asking for trades...a couple high profile ones
Sad thing is the Oilers would probably improve big time, Imagine the haul from say the Rangers

They can be dumbfounded about Peter Chiarelli extending Koskinen, and, while that's fair game, the new guy has had two off seasons to supplement Koskinen with something else, and both times his answer was "Mike Smith!".

Tippet liked their compete tonight. He thinks they work hard but need a better mindset for to be hard on pucks, win battles, and efficiently move the puck.
It almost sounds like they lack the skill required to play defensive hockey.
Who could have predicted that this would be the case with 1/2 a roster of cast offs and retreads that no other teams had as a 1st choice.
