Jays about to be shutout for the 3rd time against Houston. And have only scored 2 runs on a homerun in the 9th against them. So they've been held scoreless in 35 of 36 innings. And were an out away from 4 consecutive shutouts. Wow.

Bases loaded, nothing. Just another Jays game.

Should've sent Barger. But nope. This team has zero balls or ability to create anything.

Twice with bases loaded, twice with no runs. Just so bad at cashing in runners. Turner getting hit was actually a bad outcome in my opinion.

And here I was reconsidering keeping my tickets to all three games next week in San Francisco if they could go on a bit of a roll. Now I'm back to probably trying to get rid of the Wednesday and Thursday games.
This team is so painful to watch.

Apparently word is out that the Jays have reached out to other MLB clubs and made it known that every pending FA is available.
What a disaster of a season.
Almost everything went wrong.

Yeah, in January when I decided to do the trip to San Francisco never did I think things would be this bad which is why I decided to go to all of the games. I thought at worst maybe they would be outside a wildcard spot but only a game or two.
And I didn't think they would be this frustrating to watch. I was at the gym during the 8th and stayed about 10 minutes after I finished to see if they could atleast tie it up. It wasn't surprising they once again didn't but it was still frustrating. Then I come home and see it's 3-0.

That'll still be fun. The ballpark there is great.

I really agree with this. Down by 1 toward the end of the game, ball was still in the outfield. Make them make the play. Instead we got nothing with the bases loaded.
You have to evaluate the situation in the game as well as the play, and in that situation Febles should have sent Barger, imo.

Yeah, I'm sitting four rows behind the Blue Jays dugout the first game.
If they were exciting to watch losing every game wouldn't be so bad but it would suck seeing three straight repeats of today where every chance they get to do something they blow it.
It looks like it's probably going to be Kikuchi, Bassitt, and Gausman pitching. Hopefully Vladdy's hand is ok and he ends up playing. The only game I've ever seen was a 1-0 loss to the Yankees and he sat out that game but ended up pinch hitting for Drury and almost walked it off. I remember Gurriel ended up getting hurt a few days before that game too and didn't play.
