Perhaps because they reside in some of the most densely populated regions in the country, and therefore some of the largest fanbases. Or should networks change their business models from "making money" to "appealing to whiny, West-Coast fanbases?"

This has to be the first time 3 rookie QB's have led their respective previously non playoff teams to the playoffs right? Quite impressive.

Romo aside, Dallas' offense is so predictable, either hand it off to Murray, middle to Witten or sideline to Bryant. That's it. Redskins on the other hand ran so many different looks and play, I'm surprised both Spencer's and Ware's ankles aren't broken yet.
Glad the Redskins didn't go full prevent defense on that drive and blitz which led to the INT.
Romo got them 8 wins this year, one of his better seasons. The Cowboys were behind at some point in all 16 games this season. Garrett has to go or else the Cowboys win 4 games next year.

I feel for Cowboy fans, it'll be the same #### next year if Romo and Garrett return. They are just not good enough to be anything other than mediocre.

The AFC East, outside of following the daily tabloid soap opera of the circus that is the Jets, has nowhere near the same over coverage that the NFC East division is...and they have the team in it that has been the top overall regular season team for the better part of the last half decade.

The cowboys played their last 4 or 5 games and didnt beat themselves and even won games they didnt deserve to win, in their biggest game, they revert back to the same old cowboys.. i dont think Romo is going anywhere though, what other option is out there? this loss is on romo and the defense that gave up more than 200 yards rushing... that too was weak

It's not really their fault, it's Jones's fault for trying to run his team and running it into the ground with his yes men. What's more comical, The Giants not being able to win the NFC east with both Jones and Schneider running their teams or that Jones is going to get hammered in his taxes next year and have Tony Romo as his 'elite' qb?

Dallas played well enough to win this game. Romo made some terrible decisions with his INT's. They should be in OT right now or have won if not for his bad throws. I feel bad for Romo because he seems like a good guy but he made some selfish throws.
Also, I think RGIII will get rookie of the year (not saying I would vote for him or that he is not deserving), but Morris is a machine. A 1,500 yard runner.........I wish Luck had that! We barely had a 800 yard guy.

Romo finshes the season with the most ints of all starting QBs, but his other stats are all very decent. Top 3 in yards and near the top in every other major throwing category. Way too many high risk throws, but that is what rewards him often. He is a seasoned vet at this point though- Cant see his style changing too much regardless of whether he stays in Dallas.

Should be a good game next week. If Griffin is hurt a bit, takes away a weapon. Seattle hopefully can contain Morris, they've done OK against the run all season. Didn't see too much from the Redskins receivers, so a lot of blitzing forcing Griffin to throw is right up Seattle's defensive alley all year.

There hasn't been anything worth covering in the AFC East, outside of the Pats and Jets, for nearly 20 years now.

I'd say their biggest problem is Jerry Jones, and not Garrett or Romo.
There are only so many great QB's out there, and who is available that would be a better fit than Romo? Even with all the bonehead mistakes he makes over the season I'd still say Romo is among the top half of the quarterbacks in the league (in the 8-15 range). It's not every year you are able to get a Brees or Manning. I'll take Tony Romo over Alex Smith or Mark Sanchez any day of the week. Maybe someone like Phillip Rivers could be had if San Diego wants to change things up, but I don't think even Rivers is that much of an upgrade over Romo.
Then with Garrett I agree he is a pretty bad coach, and calls bad plays and isn't great with time management. So I guess he is replaceable, but are there any big name coaches out there who would be willing to take orders from up top (Jerry Jones specifically). Maybe they should go out and try and get Kyle Shanahan from the Redskins with all the hype he has been receiving recently (if he'd even go to a division rival).

Wasn't Garrett Jerry's boy? That he overpaid too keep him so he wouldn't leave.
