So much for that.

The thing about this play that I find interesting is how Harris has managed to keep the mystique alive by never answering when asked if he caught the ball cleanly. Watching the film, I think there's very little doubt that he did. Too much fluidity in the motion of his run for me to believe that there's more than a tiny chance that it wasn't a clean catch.

The play that started the Steelers dynasty.

38th Anniversary of the "Longest day" when the 71 Dolphins beat the Chiefs 27-24 in a game that lasted over 82 minutes. Ed Podolak of the Chiefs set a record for most All Purpose yards in a game with 350 and the game ended when Garo Yepremian kicked a 37 yard field goal. Last ever game at KC Municipal Stadium, and the Dolphins went on to lose the Superbowl to Dallas but went on to go undefeated the next season.

Other Christmas day NFL games

http://www.profootballhof.com/story/2005/1/1/634/

The NFL has played a few in the last decade here, todays is the first since 2006. Good chance we'll have Christmas day games each of the next 2 seasons. Next year on Saturday probably a feature game, and than the following year they'll likely have the regular Sunday games on Saturday, and a feature game on Sunday. 2012 is a leap year so Christmas will be on Tuesday, and I don't think they'll do a Christmas Eve Monday night game.

The route is on in Tennessee! Thank you Chargers!

The Chargers continue to impress me, the more I watch the better I think they are. But could they beat Indy in Indy?

That was a lot of domination by the Chargers. They were pretty much doing whatever they felt like on offence against the Titans. If they meet Indy in the Championship game it should be one dandy of a game.

The Chargers and Colts both walked over the Titans and Vince Young looked nothing but average against both of them.

If the Chargers don't win this year, they have to go down in history as one of the best franchises year after year to never win a super bowl.

What a brutal call by Del Rio to gamble on the teams first possession on there own 35. How does this guy still have a job?

If only Owen Daniels never had gotten injured what could have been for the Texans.
