What about the people sucked at that particular festival? I find music festival people to be a pretty generic bunch on the whole.

I found Bonnaroo to cater more to the hippiie/jam-band type crowd.
At Coachella and Sasquatch you'll be kept up by the all night rave crowd...at Bonnaroo you'll be kept up all night by drum circles.
The amount of drugs at Bonnaroo seems to be insanely high compared to other festivals.

I had a great time when I went, but heat doesn't bother me that much. Also, I'd probably be more interested in drum circles than raves (neither really interests me), so it could just be I'm more built for Bonnaroo than the others.

A festival with headliners like R Kelly is overpopulated by hippies? Lame.

See: Tom Petty, ZZ Top
Edit: I realize ZZ Top isn't really a hippy band, just grouping older folks in with hippies. You all probably got the gist of that

Picked up a ticket for Sasquatch last week, so looks like I am doing both again this year.
Sigur Ros at the Gorge is going to be an unbelievable experience.
They also added Elvis Costello to the lineup last week, which is really freaking awesome.

Live at Squamish has a pretty awesome lineup this year, headlined by Queens of the Stone Age. Would be amazing if X-fest got them....

Perhaps the name of the thread should be changed to something more encompassing of all music festivals instead of just Sasquatch and "Coachello" (whatever the hell Coachello is )

Are you talking about past years? Lolla 2013 hasn't been announced, although I agree there will likely be some crossover.
