Oh Brady Quinn, how was being 2nd on the depth chart? Did you enjoy it?

Tim by stats didn't do bad at all. But he did revert to his old throwing motion allowing him to get hammered twice.

Tim this isn't SEC football. Everyone is the best player on defense.

I did watch it and what I already thought was confirmed. Brady Quinn is the suckiest suck to ever suck. Tebow didn't do too bad all things considered, made a great pass early that was dropped by whatever 3rd string scrub was on the receiving end, Willis I think was his name.

Yeah, I saw that drop. Michael Willis...the star of training camp thus far. Same old story with that kid. He had a great camp last year too and then sucked it up bigtime in the preseason games.

Anxious to see Thomas, Decker and Moreno on the field.

I was hoping to have John Chick back but it looks like he is staying in Indianapolis unless something dramatic happens in the next few weeks. I watched one series on D with him yesterday and he got man-handled by San Fran big tackle #74.

Chick is trying to win (and should) the #4 DE spot.

Freeney, Mathis and Hughes have the top 3 spots locked up.

Brian Westbrook is headed to the west coast to play for San Fransisco.

A league source told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter that Westbrook's deal is worth $1.25 million guaranteed, with $1.25 million worth of incentives.

LOL @ Eli getting popped by his own player twice, and being cracked wide open. That was a series of funnies on that play.

2nd year RB Glenn Coffee, also a 49er, has retired. In his defense, he was straight up about it with team officials by all accounts. His heart just wasn't in the game anymore was his explanation.

Now we find out Percy Harvin's 'migraines' (which he does suffer from) actually are a nearly 3 week unexplained absence from training camp. He is not on Minnesota's 80 man roster.

Indeed, a very strange camp so far. Coffee retiring to devote his time to worship. I would have thought having and ordained minister as a coach may have kept him around, but I guess not. Better to have this happen now than later.

And it sounds like the Westbrook signing is a change of pace for Gore and mentoring for Anthony Dixon. Low risk signing for one uncapped year.

I was tuning in and out of the game tonight but it didn't seem like they featured the new stadium that much.. did it look impressive to you guys?

I was at the US-Brazil game last week at the Meadowlands, it's quite impressive. Not a lot of bells and whistles in the concourses, but there are massive video screens everywhere in the stadium bowl without them dominating the experience. I couldn't find anything to complain about besides the fact that it's in New Jersey.

And guess what is happening exactly one year to the day when he signed with the Vikings.

I'm sorry, but this is hilarious.

JasonLaCanfora

This is kinda nuts - we have a camera at the airport in Minn and I'm watching our internal feed. Guys getting off Vikes plane

JasonLaCanfora

Looked like Jared Allen in flip flops. Not sure I saw Favre. They're hopping in a black SUV now

JasonLaCanfora

Oh snap, there he is. No. 4 just got off plane. Last one off. Next stop the team headquarters I imagine

JasonLaCanfora

How ridiculous is it giving play by play of a bunch of dudes getting off the plane? I love it.

Well this should be interesting, if he plays anywhere like he did last year the Vikings have a very strong team. In my mind Farve pushes them from Wild Card contender to Conference contender.

A little off topic but is anybody else stoked that NFL Sunday Ticket this year is going to be completely broadcasted in 100% HD. Free upgrades for the HD boxes around the house too.

As per Favre did anyone else actually think he wasn't going to play.

Same thing for years... I figure Bret just hates preseason and training camp two-a-days.
