Just open your mouth then they will leave you alone. I'm guessing these are the only type of people that would hit on you so enjoy it.

I never went thru the other 16 pages, but is anyone else finding it way to easy to score?

No, I'm finding it difficult for some reason.

Yea. I'm averaging 5 goals per game and I find that regardless of the goalie, some plays have them completely out of position or going down on a pass from the two D-Men at the point.

I'm a little bit disappointed in the game. I'll continue to play and see if I can adjust, but the constant fighting after every whistle and 3 penalty shots game really slows down the play and bogs down the mood of the game. As far as this goes, I hope they fix these bugs right away.

You need to play on hardcore pro at least to get a feel for the game. Anything else is too arcady.

I'm lucky if I find myself with 2 goals. I'm having a hell of a time scoring.

Are you playing Hardcore-allstar mode?

I'm just playing Pro and I just started hitting the 3-4 goal/game mark.

I am still "Brandon Armstrong" in my player profile, but Michael Scarn in the hockey shop.

Isn't the on-line default at Hardcore already? I've only been playing on-line.

Same with me, the defense is doing a really good job of taking away the open lanes that I used to drive fairly easily in 09.

I got drafted by Pittsburg as a Sniper, went there and got the whole 4 game try out speech. Scored 1 goal and was -4 in 4 games and was sent to the farm.

Scored 3 goals and an assist in 2 games and most of my goals were of the garbage goal variety.

I find I can't score my usual go to the side of the net, and pass out front type of goals, like I was able to in '09.

I've noticed, though, that alot of my goals have come from just inside the blueline. I actually kinda like that I can't score goals as easily, makes it more challenging for me.

I'm on hardcore style with pro or superstar difficulty. I usually can score when I get a free chance, but the passing is such that I don't get too many of those! I get tons of shots but they usually aren't of the strong variety.

i have found the AI defense to at least be better this year on the higher levels and the goalies are tough to beat and seem to just take hard work as opposed to the old way of finding their weaknesses and then trying to score that way several times a game.

i did have a funny BAP experience. and it seems to be a major flaw. i am trying to earn some of the BAP upgrades, and many of them involve really high offensive output. so i put the game on easy and made all teh human sliders favor me so i could kill the computer with 4 minute periods... so after 5 games, i lead the league in scoring playing on the islanders 3rd line. and they send me down to the AHL! that logic is totally fubar. why would you send the leading scorer down to the minors? i was actually looking forward to not having richard park on my line and getting someone better!

Yeah I'm exactly like you then. The best chances I have are off the faceoff from the point hoping for a tip or a blast. If all else fails, I just give it to iggy and blast it and it always seems to go in

I agree with the give it to Iggy and tee it up comment.

I need to figure out how to get my guys to crash the net a bit more and get to the dirty areas. Whenever I bust it down the wing and look for a cross-crease pass my center and winger are always floating around in la-la land.

Did you switch strategy to crash the net?

Ya, but I'm still not quite getting the results I'm looking for. I probably just need to spend another couple months with the sliders to get it right.
