Darkseid unleashes his Omega Sanction beam, the "life that is death", upon Batman and his charred corpse is recovered by Superman. However, the Omega Sanction does not kill its victims: instead, it sends their consciousness travelling through parallel worlds, and at the conclusion of Final Crisis, it is made clear that this is the fate that has befallen the still-living Batman, as he watches the passing of Anthro in the distant past.
With my Male Villain pick I select...Darkseid. I am the last to pick in this category so I'm gonna drop the name of my second choice which would have been Kingpin. The thing is i'm basically a 51% DC guy and a 49% Marvel guy so my growing up years were more involved with Darkseid's shenanigans. Also, he is a Jack Kirby creation and Kirby is a freaking legend.
Darkseid has one goal, to rule the universe. Not a small task, but Darkseid only needs to discover the “Anti Life Equation” and he will succeed. His thirst for power is only matched by his super abilities. He has incredible strength and speed, and also possess a powerful Omega Beam with many untold powers. If Darkseid can find this Equation, that he believes is locked within the minds of earthlings, than our existence will be fearful indeed.
He is the ruler of the planet Apokolips and is just generally a baaaad dude.
The Following User Says Thank You to SportsJunky For This Useful Post:
Arthur wears a moth suit, which gives him the ability to fly, but he is often mistaken for a bunny. He is an extremely kind, sensible and intelligent person, but his social skills are somewhat lacking as he is shy and has little self confidence. He often shows mild discomfort or annoyance with the dangers and frustrations of being a superhero's sidekick. Various family members and friends continuously beg him to give up his superhero lifestyle. Arthur is Jewish, but he does celebrate non-Jewish holidays, such as Christmas. Arthur’s apartment serves as his and The Tick’s superhero headquarters.
Alright I made my own picks on what is left over and I got everyone I would have wanted except Hal Jordan, damn you MattyC!
I will post them after the draft is over to not add spoilers for anyone that might not have thought about it themselves.
I'm guessing your Weapon/Gadget/Vehicle would have been GL's Power Ring? I was thinking about it and I ended up nixing it because of Mjolnir (Which I chose) and Cerebro.
For my Female Hero I am proud to select from the X-Men - Rogue
Rogue was born as a mutant. More so than any other, Rogue considers her powers a curse: she involuntarily absorbs the memories, physical strength, and (in the case of superpowered persons) the abilities of anyone she touches. This potentially fatal power prevents her from making any physical contact with others, including her longtime on-again off-again love interest, Gambit.
Hailing from Mississippi, she is the X-Men's self-described southern belle. A runaway, she was adopted by Mystique of the Brotherhood of Mutants and grew up as a villainess. After Rogue permanently absorbed Ms. Marvel's psyche and Kree powers, she reformed and turned to the X-Men, fearing for her sanity. Writer Chris Claremont played a significant role in the character's subsequent development. Rogue is unusual among the X-Men as her real name and her early history were not revealed until more than twenty years after her introduction; until the back story provided by Robert Rodi in the ongoing Rogue series, began in September 2004, Rogue's background was only hinted at; her name was revealed as Anna Marie
True! The Omega Sanction does not kill it's victims outright, it sends their souls through an endless succession of synthetic lives, leaving behind the body. These lives become increasingly hopeless.
This is what hapened to Bruce Wayne, his soul was sent through this "endless" cycle. The only way to beat this cycle is to figure out the constant that occurs within each life, I am guessing for Batman it was the death of his parents, or something significantly tied to Batman, maybe even the death of Earth 1's Jason Todd. That part is pure speculation, so far anyway.
Now this is where it gets tricky, so stick with me. The rocket that was launched by the heroes of Earth 1 in FC 7 had a number of items including the body of Batman. Time was still broken at this point because the Miracle Machine had not been used yet. Because of this it was caught in a time anomalie and ended up on Earth-51 with Anthro.
IF you can beat the Omega Sanction, you return to your body.
The final scene shows us Batman alive and writing on the wall of a cave during Earth 51's Stone Age.

I dont have anyone on ignore lol so youre safe there. I might have missed youre pick. I generally dont see picks that aren't full of pictures/explainations
EDIT: Woah ya my bad. I've even read that a few times lol. And holy smokes I didnt even realize it was my turn lol. BRB with pick
For my Best Costume pick I will select one of my all-time favorites in Nightcrawler
Born in Bavaria to the blue-skinned shapeshifting mutant later known as Mystique, Kurt Wagner was shunned at birth due to his having blue skin, pointed ears, fangs, and a long pointed tail. At the time disguised as the Baroness Wagner, Mystique's true identity was revealed after she gave birth to Kurt, and the pair were chased by an angry mob. Fleeing to the nearby falls, Mystique threw the infant Kurt over the edge and fled. Kurt was saved by his natural father, the enigmatic being known as Azazel
Nightcrawler is an Olympic-class acrobat thanks to his flexible spine that allows him to perform contortionist-like feats and to go long periods in a semi-crouching position without injury. He is a skilled hand-to-hand combatant and a master at fencing, which he can even perform with his tail, which is strong enough to support his entire body weight.
For my Wildcard, I'm going with Jackie Estacado as The Darkness.
The Darkness is an ageless power dating back beyond human history. The Darkness is passed down a family line from father to son, leaving the previous user (and taking his life) as his first child is conceived. The power then manifests in the child on his 21st birthday.
Darkness users can create anything they desire with The Darkness, even sentient beings, but anything they make will crumble to dust in the light. The Darkness is quite deadly, allowing the user to call forth darkling minions to aid them, and even survive gunshots. The power can also be used to maul and feed on people.
Jackie Estacado is the current wielder of The Darkness and hitman for the Franchetti Family mob. He is a very violent and sexual man who, until gaining the powers of The Darkness, lived life in the fast lane. Of course, because of the possibility of impregnating a woman causing his own death through the mysterious ways of The Darkness, Jackie tries to refrain from sex, to his great frustration. Though Jackie lives life on the wrong side of the law and can kill without remorse, he has a set of morals he follows and always tries to protect those he cares about.
Jackie joined the mob at a very early age, after being recruited by a mafia don named Frankie "Kill-the-children-too" Franchetti. He was picked up at the orphanage after Frankie was prompted by a mysterious stranger named Sonatine, who told Frankie that having Jackie around would bring him tremendous power. Jackie came to the mafia life easily, losing his virginity to a female officer, during interrogation, at age 14. He grew up, or more accurately matured, very quickly, and soon enjoyed the life of sex and violence. However, when he turned 21, his dark powers awakened and he learned of his evil inheritance. At first, this power was a blessing, allowing his job as a professional hitman to run more smoothly and work in more novel ways. However, with this power came many enemies...
Well we're getting into the later rounds here and I have three picks left to make. I need a woman, a wild card and a costume. And so I started thinking lets grab a costume... and so I started thinking of all the cool, spiky costumes that I could. I went down the list of X-Men, some pretty bad-ass DC heroes and villains and one stuck out to me. It was simple, cool and you know what? I had wanted Deadpool, but I missed him. I wasn't going to miss out on the costume that helped create him.
Breaking the 4th Wall is proud to select with their Costume DEATHSTROKE, THE TERIMNATOR
Like I was saying, this costume doesn't have a whole lot going on like some costumes, but it doesn't need it. It looks sleek and in my opinion is pretty bad-ass for a bad-ass character.
Blaster great pick, glad to see you have realised that Deathstroke >>>>>> Deadpool.
