Ifart is the app of the year.
Citrix is building an app that will allow you to run vista or xp on the phone over your network.

If they created an RDC application, wow, that would definately get me to purchase the iPhone.

I already use the VNC and RDP apps to connect to Windows computers, though a Citrix one would be very cool for a corporate environment.

I've tried the VNC and RDP but never got it working. I am hoping to have more luck with the Citrix one when it comes out. I don't normally have any luck with these things short of successful plugging in of network cables.
Here's a link to the Citrix blog.

I recommend everyone check out the app "Buddy". I was part of the beta testing team for it, and it has just made it onto the app store. Thought I'd give it a plug. Free app BTW.

Looks like it's a social networking site that helps you meet people with similar interests. The description creeped me out for some reason.

I have an unrelated I-pod question I would appreciate getting help on. I have the first gen of Ipods with videos and it's over 2 years old. I have an auxilary outlet in my car I plug it in to so I can listen to it but I need to jiggle the cord around to get full sound. I got a new cord and I think it's the entry port of my ipod that's messed up. Can that be fixed? Earphones give me a similar problem at times. Thanks.

Not sure how deep you want to go here ... personally I'd just buy a new one but here is a DIY guide:

Just want to mention...
I just got home from a little one-on-one session with an Apple Genius regarding a hairline crack on my (black) iPhone. Within three minutes I was walking out of the store with a new phone on order for Thursday. Usually they will swap it for you on the spot, but were out of stock today. Apple is an amazing company for customer service, and this was reaffirmed for me today.

I haven't, but I read they are all Safari based anyways, so there won't be a profound difference, methinks.

They're not Safari based, they're Webkit based (which is the rendering engine that Safari is built on). In other words, they'll render the pages in the same way, but can still have their own UI and featureset. At least, that's my understanding anyways.
