Great pictures. If only that pelican were a crane.

the best part is that is the natural colours, only the first one was changed (sepia tone).
It was that beautiful when driving...
Except for outside Hanna where Mr. RCMP man decided to pull me over.

I went on a drive today out along Old Banff Coach Road.. Saw a Ferarri in the ditch, as some moron lost control. Didn't take a picture of that, but this is one that I took.

A few things . . . . .
On the Sheep River west of Turner Valley a few weeks ago, this guy was floating by . . .
Posted the below in the Rome thread, but I'll put it here too . . . . cafe scene in Milan. The coffeemeister on the left was aware I was shooting but the lady wasn't. As is the custom of many Italians, she was in the cafe for a quick hit of caffeine, standing up, and she stepped to the window to make the shot work. Lots of stories in the picture. This was the last of seven shots over two days.
Amusing shot (below) from the top of Milan's Duomo . . . . the figure below is out front of a modern art museum . . .

This is one of the coolest pieces of photography I've ever seen (I certainly wish I could claim credit, but its not mine). It's a bunch of timelapsed photos put together to make a short movie. The part with the stars and the clouds and the end is amazing.

Some spot news shooting in High River yesterday . . . .
Death of a horse . . . . . the moment of disaster at the High River chuckwagons last night as the left lead horse of the Darcy Flad outfit, near the rail, dies of a heart attack as the finish line nears, going down and taking the horse behind with it. Three horses walked away unhurt. Flad is pulling back on the reigns and his competitor notices the change with the left rear horse lifting its head before piling into the dirt.
On a lighter note, rodeo queens and princesses from Okotoks and Airdrie gallop by as they herd a calf to a corral.

Unreal. What a stunning piece that is.
Music helps with the effect, too. That was awesome.

here are some photos from my recent trip to Hong Kong and my birthplace, Vietnam.
I met these lottery boys in a small hamlet called, Ke Sach. These boys sell lottery tickets with their broken english "you buy? you buy?". These poor kids don't go to school and make 30 cents a day trying to help feed their families. They are not used to getting their photo taken, however they absolutely loved it!
This was taken in Nha Trang, Vietnam. If any of you ever decide to visit Vietnam, you must see Nha Trang. One of the most beautiful beaches in the world.
This little boy is an orphan. Unfortunately, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt never visited this orphanage.
A street vendor trying to sell vegetables at a ferry stop on the Mekong Delta.
A cable car ride overlooking the South China Sea.
Hong Kong Harbour. I wish my tripod didn't break on my trip . I had to shoot this shot handheld.
