I've said it a few times on this forum but since the 2014 olympics all the Team Canada's have been trying to recreate the "perfect" hockey they played. Give up nothing and bury off the other teams mistakes. Even though we barely won they just keep going that route - despite having more offensive weapons than any other team could put up in almost any of the tournaments.

We'll lose the Olympics if we keep trying to play that ####. We should be playing like the 2002 Olympic team, not the 2014.

Sweden wins bronze. Backlund was player of the game for Sweden with two goals and an assist.

In a short tournament it isn’t about setting up for game 7. You need to win with speed and skill. That is what happened with the WJ team trying to build ideal 3rd and 4th lines. Just go out and win 7-5. Trying to limit chances and win 2-1 is how you lose.
