Coming back on that 5th goal against, Draisaitl doesn't take a single stride - save a little wiggle of his hips- from the centre line in, to check his man, the eventual goal scorer.

Oilers missing would be glorious. All the pundits backpedaling after basically declaring a return to the SCF as a given.
McDavid literally had GRETZKY-like playoff numbers and they still lost. Gretzky. The guy who put up comically high numbers against dmen who couldn't skate, and string bean standup goalies.

Yup, just lets his guy beat him.
A reminder that their broadcasters mentioned him for the Selke during this broadcast.
But also, check out mcDavid on the 6th goal too. He's barely at centre Ice coming back when the goal is scored, on a play where Klingberg is pinching in the corner, and RNH is one of the two Oilers back, and Savoie somehow pinches up to turn a 3 on 2 into a 2 on 1, but essentially a 1 on 0.
The entire team is utterly lost on that goal defensivly.
Draisaitl didn't just happen to be on the ice for those goals against. He could have been awarded a primary assist on the first one, where he passed it directly to the goal scorer. On the other three, it was his man who scored each of the goals.

I wouldn't say Drai was directly responsible for the 3-1 Goal, but he takes the faceoff, and essentially hasn't moved from that spot when the goal goes in. He's standing there doing nothing.
On the 4-1 goal, he goes behind the net for no reason when it was already 2 players from each team behind the net, leaving his man completely open directly in front of the net, who promptly scored.
on the 5-1 Goal, Drai like you said, doesn't take a stride from centre ice, as his man beats him, (and somehow McDavid is the last man back (because Nurse takes a terrible pinch)
And of course Drai's primary assist on Anaheim's 1-1 goal.
I know I'm doing it wrong, but the (c)oil will probably go on a tear before the playoffs. The hysteria in Bumonton is always wonderful, but it's also usually wildly misplaced. (Like, for example, fixating on their goaltending when it's clearly their team defence that's the major issue.)
The one thing the (c)oil fans have right in that most recent ATL is that theirs is a roster beyond help going forward. The sooner they're out of contention and having to face next season, the better. Really hoping they face an actual opponent in the first round this year.
Right at the end of the game none the less. Cheapshot artist
Pickard going to be yelled at for not digging in and opening the bench door fast enough.
Also notice a distinct kicking motion.
Here’s how you know that the inmates are running the asylum. It’s the end of the game. And it’s been over for some time. Why is Mavi on the ice, never mind trying to check the boards?
This tells me that he’s not injured, he has lost interest.
