I feel like Baltimore has been at bat this whole time. Just painfully long innings from Berrios. He has not been sharp at all.

Haha what an ass kicking. And the score actually flatters the Jays. Just a terrible effort on both sides of the ball.

Actually kind of comical at this point. The Orioles could've had 20 runs by now. And the Jays have....2 hits.

I won’t lie, I am a fairweather Jays fan and baseball fan in general. Over the years Ive gone from watching every game when they are good to being completely checked out when they stink. Last three or so years its been more than obvious that this organization is being run into the ground by management whether its in the dugout or in the board room. When it comes to baseball everybody always says do not give up on the season too early but the last few years I gave up early and did not watch a game after the first couple weeks and it was a great decision. There are too many games to be invested into watching a bad team being led by a management group that has no accountability and throws their players/manager under the bus whenever they can. There is something very rotten about this organization, im not going to pretend like I understand more than the average observer of this sport but in this era where there are teams like the dodgers, Mets, and Yankees getting every player I find it increasingly hard to care about it. Especially when the Jays consistently now for years get humiliated in big games. To me it’s pretty obvious how this season is gonna go but best of luck to those who are much better fans of this sport/team than me

Good thing there is 161 more.
Jays should never start at home. Toronto media (not just sports) fawn over them and gloss over the rough offseasons in the last 4-5 days, and all the expectations are through the roof.
They've laid more then a few eggs on home opening day the last 15 years or so.

The only positive is that things can only go up from here. They're not going to go 0-162 with a -1620 run differential...

Only Jay who did well today was Roden. Oh and Gimenez was so so.
Pitching should be better. Will team hitting be much better??? Ehhh, I have real doubts.

What type of performance at the plate would you rank better than so-so? Gimenez was 1 for 3 plus a walk and the 1 was a homer. 500 on base percentage while hitting for power isn't so-so it's great.
It isn't his fault the Jays pitchers gave up 6 home runs.

Could have signed him AND Santander. Jays needed two bats, not one.

Too busy worrying about Soto instead of learning from what happened with the unicorn gambler.
